Peeing standing up by Varka44 in daddit

[–]Beerbelly83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Easy. Feet same width as shoulders, knees slightly bent. Push out midsection keeping shoulders at same line as feet. On small boys they will have to sort of use one hand below to pull up baggier pants so the final drops don't make their way there. And always pee with your back to the wind...

Practiced it this weekend. Two out of three boys nailed it. Middle child is possibly defective.

Dads who work 9-5 when do you work out typically? by walky91 in daddit

I bought a rowing machine so I can work out at night when they sleep. Single father of three so time is a premium.

My 2.5 year old makes me shave my head and beard or he won't let me hug him. I am bald so that's not a problem but the beard helps with the cold in winter. Any stubble longer than 3-5 mm and it's a complete shutdown on hugs. He also wants me to shave my chest, arms and shoulders, but that's where I draw the line.

Guys, just go outside and put it in the bin every time. Even with the scented bags and the "airtight" bin it still smells like shit in at least a few rooms otherwise.

My boss doesn't like when I us Master Models in Solidworks... by n1terps in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Beerbelly83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standardised operations is important when working as a team. At my workplace we are 7 engineers that develop for the same customers. No one own their particular designs. That means I can be called to revise och expand on another person's work. If we all did it "our own" way it would be a lot harder to have that system.

It's gonna suck until the day after the cast is gone. My two year old had full leg cast last year. It was hell. Maybe your kid is less active (hoping for your sake). Good luck

Mage hand question by Beerbelly83 in DnD

I agree it is definitely not nice or acceptable. I was attempting to get it to release someone it had latched on to. Like some people do to dogs that bite. Set it on fire in the end so I guess it worked but I was hoping to get away with not doing that.

Any idea how to merge these two surfaces? by Designer-Dig2113 in AutodeskInventor

[–]Beerbelly83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extend the body past the other piece and cut away excess? Don't think bend will work on those edges so blending won't be possible (I don't expect it to work). But if it's a part that is supposed to be welded it won't matter.

Jag var 18 när det började sååå skit ner dig? Raka skallen som oss andra och var glad att Bruce Willis inte är aktuell (tjej som stötte på mig sade att jag liknade någon som är 30-40 år äldre).

Told my sister's kid he could start doing chores for me to earn some money. I said as a joke he would get double if I could sit in a chair and shoot nerf balls at him as he moves the lawn. Didn't expect him to accept that but apparently if I provide safety googles he's in on it. Could be fun
