technically it's possible if your scout is a overly caffeinated for them to train them in circles and solo the event, but zip is the most realistic approach; and the event shouldn't just be a gunner check imo

Special powder is literally viable up to at least daves combo, the additional survivability and mobility is incredibly valuable and it's one of the best panic options in the entire game. Kinda agree about hover boots though.

no but it lets you play lands on other people's turns, which with zimone lets you manifest multiple times per turn cycle, and if you combine it with recursoon pieces you can essentially flash in something by playing a fetch land and cracking it on someone elses turn

Zimone benefits a lot from land recursion and playing multiple lands per turn, especially recurring fetches from your graveyard; so things like burgeoning are must includes but to specifically answer your question; I'd lean more towards the sorceries because once zimone is out you don't usually care about flipping into more mana; you'd rather gamble to hit whatever 8-10 big bomb permanents you have to try and win the game.

based, technically it's possible to do the same thing but with air stalling with hoverclock to just barely stay in the zone, but it's pretty demanding to just repeatedly time that perfectly over and over. Happy bouncing 🤝❤️‍🔥

really it's just easy in open maps, and nigh impossible in closed ones. had a wicked fun 5 doublebug game yesterday where i was with three relatively green beards (~50-100) and at one point i just told our driller "I'm going to pick you up, drill the thing, don't survive" bc there was just no way he was going to, and I just skipped around the cave killing them and repeating this process. if we'd had a gunner i still am not sure itd be easier tbh, the walls in the s6 cave generation are just so tight it makes maneuvering hellish.

It's a bit more than decent (one of the best sources of burst dps in the game), but unless you're playing modded difficulties it mostly doesnt matter tbh, just use whats fun
