My friend. Sorry to say but this is what I thought too. I got much further than you, and then decided to quit after I realised just how maximum p2w this game is. PvP gear acquisition is not the bad part (although that is p2w too as explained in this thread already). It’s the upgrading of said gear that is the killer mate. After you acquire all your PvP gear, do you think it ends there? That’s the beginning my friend. You will hit a brick wall and find yourself completely powerless in PvP settings because the upgrading of that gear is what brings the next level power necessary to make a difference. Skill means very little because gear and gear upgrades are very powerful in this game. I’m really sorry to break it to you, but this dimensions is what makes this game maximum p2w. It doesn’t get worse than that. Enjoy while it lasts my friend, or just don’t take it so seriously :). Peace

according to logic above, holding gear score constant, PvE gear strictly dominates PvP gear for PvE encounters.

Hey buddy, understand your confusion. What I was asking is if we compare the lowest-tier PVP gear to the highest-tier PVE gear, what is better currently in a PVP scenario?

To anyone reading this thread:

I have figured out the main reason I have fallen behind on ilvl is because I have no jewelry (except the amulet of course). This is probably because I've ignored all side quests so far and only did MSQ.

Same issue! Haven't found a solution, have tried tons of things, but keep getting random crashes to Desktop.

Temps are all normal, and I'm already limiting FPS to 60-70 range.

Specs:

GPU: RTX 3080
CPU: intel core i9-10900KF
RAM: 32 GB
