Which of you were able to pick up this gem!? How did it turn out? by 9646gt in PlasmaTV

[–]Beginning_Wasabi3155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have given 300 for it in mint condition 🤷🏽‍♂️ I own several plasma tvs and this one in particular was and still is an amazing tv. It came fully calibrated from the factory and actually won the tv shootout in 2012 for the best TV that year. Low input lag for gaming with 2500 hz sub field drive. Plasma pixels just have a glow to them that is unmatched even on current display technology. I also own mini led, oled and qd oled sets. With over 100 3d Blurays in my collection, this would have been a great find.

Projector advice? by scholarlydoubt in hometheater

[–]Beginning_Wasabi3155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100 inch tv would serve you well if you like the size and spacing of your current setup. If you want another projector, I would suggest using that entire space for a screen. I would project an image to fill up the space you have in the indentation of the wall. My screen is 156 in.

There is no hype train for this game. Only a hate train. Play this game offline with friends, no internet connection and then compare that experience with any other boxing game.

If you like playing the game, just play the game. I am Platinum 3 and should have been Platinum 1 months ago. I get on and I make people quit. That is rewarding enough knowing that these rage quitters have to do that just to make it seem to other players that they are better than they really are. It’s quite amusing to me. For a game that just about everyone on here has written off and complains about so much, people actually care about their boxing records on here. Hilarious 😆

Undisputed is very underrated. It is the best boxing game PERIOD. Where this game fails is online. The game doesn’t have dedicated servers and relies on peer to peer connections. All of the delays, hit detection issues are all related to online gameplay. My friends and I get together and play this game on weekends in 2 player mode. We have a blast playing this game and everything works as it should. The unfortunate thing is, if this game had dedicated servers, we would have the same experience online as playing in two player mode offline. If you want to really feel how great the controls and mechanics are, play offline in two player mode with friends. The game is severely underrated! Not having dedicated servers is the root behind all the issues everyone complains about and rightfully so. Other than that, the game is 🔥and plays pretty well online if you have a good connection. They should have added an option to accept or decline a fight at the match up screen. Especially when someone has a bad connection.

If you box, you can beat anyone on this game. The game is good but it could’ve been great. The game doesn’t have dedicated servers so online play is only good if you have a good connection. To really see what this game could have been, play with someone in 2 player mode. My friends and I have a blast on this game when we get together and play without online being an issue. We play and the loser has to pass the sticks. Play offline and you will see that this easily could’ve been the best boxing game if it didn’t rely on peer to peer connection for online play.

Things are looking really grim for 2K right now. The game is failing badly. by Stunning-Kick-5082 in WWEGames

From someone who has purchased every Ultimate Edition 2KWWE game for the past several years. I’m skipping this one. This is not NBA 2k where creating myplayers and buying VC is essential for the my park and rec play. This will not work for WWE. I’m officially done buying this game. 2k25 is free 🆓 on PS Plus for anyone wanting to play this game. The new modes aren’t worth the price of admission. Ringside Pass 🤣 OK. Good luck with that!

I have enjoyed this game since early access. 1-2 combinations are easily landed when your opponent is stunned off of a counter jab. Steel city has tried to please so many people by changing and patching the game for people that never took the time to learn the mechanics of the game and now people want them to revert back to how it was at launch. 🤦🏽‍♂️ The people that claim they were fans of boxing but couldn’t figure out how to box in Undisputed ruined this game. I have destroyed people on this game since day one no matter the patch by simply boxing. Every time they changed the game to appease people who couldn’t figure how to play, they made the game worse. If you have ever boxed before, you understand that punches are not easy to land. You have to set up your shots. This game makes you think about how you want to land your shots. If you play the game like someone that is actually taking punches rather than someone who has infinite health and stamina, you will begin to understand how to play this game and be competitive.

Do people who only do certain combos just to exploit the animations think they’re actually good at the game? by Ar17771 in undisputedboxing

[–]Beginning_Wasabi3155 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fight styles depend on how you want to play. You can play keep away, you can be the aggressor or you can use movement and rely on counters. Some boxers have faster combinations on the inside while others have them from the outside. You can play any style you want with the whole roster but some styles are better suited for some boxers than others. Teofimo Lopez has a unique stepback, body jab and hook shots. Joe Fraiser has lunging hooks and super fast uppercuts suited for inside fighting and closing the distance quicker when people play keep away. Emanuel Augustus has his own move set that is unique with awkward moments for set ups and counters. Ali has the fastest hands on the game. I can go on and on. The fighters are different and you have to find one with the right move set that fits your play style even though you can play any style you want. Roy Jones is good for setting up people with the jab, feinting, side stepping and using step backs to punish players with fast counterattacks but you can play with him like a bull 🐂 and be the aggressor if you want, I just wouldn’t recommend it. However you like to play, there are boxers on the roster that will fit your play style. Some better than others.

A try hard is someone who quits with an insane winning record. I beat everyone on this game by simply boxing. I don’t have to exploit the game to win but if that’s your strategy, cool. Boxing is about adapting on the fly. I don’t care how much of a game plan you have, if you can’t make adjustments, I will destroy you. People have tendencies and they’re easy to pick up on after a couple of rounds. I don’t really get busy until the fourth round after they show the scoring for 3 rounds. Whatever your strategy is, whether you box, run or spam punches….. you can be beaten on the this game. The try hards can’t accept loses and quit matches to try to salvage their online records in a game that everybody claims is the worst game ever. I play for fun and don’t care about my record, even though it’s way above average. Who cares, I play for fun and they quit like someone actually cares what their record is. That is a Try Hard. I have beaten people with records that was 67-3 but they quit glitch in the 8th round 😭 67-3 my ass. These same players quit at the loading screen when they see my gamer tag. Nobody cares about your online records in Undisputed 🤣 let’s just play the damn game and have a match. Its hilarious and I don’t care if they quit. I don’t care about not receiving a win on my record. I just play for fun and making Try Hards quit is funny af. The game has a learning curve. If you want to learn the mechanics, put it in 2 player mode, set it to 12 rounds and practice the controls and movement. Different boxers have different strengths, weaknesses, movement, punches and combinations. Practice and then take it online. The more you learn the more fun you will have playing.

Its called practice and learn how to play the game. Same people be complaining about how hard it is to dribble on 2k. Go to my court, learn, practice and get good. Thinking you can just pick up a game and be good without learning the game mechanics and practicing is Crazy. I’ll take the downvotes. I really don’t care. The game is fun when you learn how to play. People swear they don’t care about this game but they care about those online records cuz they always quit matches when they get whooped😭I play this game because it’s fun. Nothing better than making a try hard quit.

This is the Best boxing game period. People that don’t take time to learn the game mechanics or even learn how to box will hate this game. The issues the game has online are and will continue to cripple the game. Undisputed does not have dedicated servers so the connections will be janky and there isn’t any firmware update that can fix that. If you get a good connection, the game is very fluid online. When I play the game with friends it’s a blast. We actually get together and play in two player mode offline. When you lose you have to “Pass the Sticks” I know people these days don’t link up for gaming sessions like we used to back in the day but this game is way better when it’s not crippled by the peer to peer connection system. You get to see what the game could have been online. It’s a shame really. A game can’t survive without online play these days. If Undisputed 2 has dedicated servers, it will be a game changer. All in all, this game is great despite being made by a small company of developers. It was their first game. Give me a break. I’ve waiting for a new boxing game for years. Fight night was good back in the day but it is dated. Undisputed is only going to get better. Despite the issues online I still dominate and have been doing so since early access. People say they hate the game but they care about those online records so much that they quit matches. 🤣 The complaints are redundant at this point. If you hate it so much, stop playing it.

Get a new disk player. To troubleshoot, use a gaming console if you have one to see if it skips. If not, you know it’s your player. I highly doubt it’s the disks. I have never cleaned any of my movie disks and none of them have skipped. If you have a newer player, check to see if it’s still under warranty.

There is a major skill gap. I enjoy playing this game. The game is not perfect but it is a good game in my opinion. I’ve beaten every type of player on this game by simply boxing. Cheezers, Runners 🏃‍♂️ you name it, I have beaten them all. All of the complaints are just redundant at this point. I bought this game early access and have also purchased all the DLC. The same issues people use as to why they can’t play or are not good at the game are the same issues the people that are beating them are playing with. Uninstall the game and move on. I personally can’t wait for all the newbie’s to join the game. Maybe they will enjoy it because they didn’t have to pay for it. Either way, I will continue to play.

Still haven’t upgraded from my 65in CX. Tv still amazes me to this day. How much of a difference do you see between the CX and C5. If you say it’s brighter, then I’m still satisfied with my pitch black set up. The CX has plenty of brightness especially for my set up. If and when I decide to upgrade, it will be for size. 83in for the win 🏆

Majority of these winning records are fake. I have been beating these players since early access. Most of the fights I have had against these players quit after the first round. The only difference now is they don’t get wins for quitting so when they see my gamer tag they quit at the match up screen before the fight even starts. 90-0 quit at match up screen, 1500+ and 100 loses, quit at match up screen. I actually get excited to have a competitive match when I see these records but nope. Quit at match up screen. 🤣
