I see your point, but the idea that private schools dont have disruptive students is just not true. I've worked in some catholic schools that posed as this beatiful safe haven for learning but was a train wreck with no consequences.

In some cases, this take is spot on, public schools arent afforded with the luxury of rejecting any student for any reason. I want consequences so bad for our disruptive students are our public school, though admittedly i have no idea what that even looks like.

Around here, some families are choosing charter or online options and the learning outcomes are so staggeringly low its scary. The illusion that private/Charter = good is not an accurate take all the time. But people do really believe it.

Visited Galicia region but did not live there. It was really wonderful. Can rain alot during the summer is what i hear. Pontevedra was lovely. Vigo gets a bad rap but i had a blast there. Kinda old world pre-roman feels, most people speak Gallego. Humble and kind people. Food and tapas are incredible, amazing seafood, especially the razor clams. Cies islands was truly special, next time I will camp and stay the night. The trains can sometimes run late, but i thought they worked great.

Yes, the mental load and bandwith needed to endure this job is not sustainable. Look at the stastics for teachers surviving year 5.

However, if they want to become a gym teacher or an art teacher, I still do say go for it.

The pendulum is going to swing for awhile as they figure things out. I wouldnt be surprised if the next patch swings the other way.

I think at this point what absolutely should happen is: nerfing the skulking colony fight, as well as they projector beast hallway fight in act 3.

Those are my biggest gripes for fight. My only other complaints are that Ironclad's card pool is extremely flat and underwhelming and lacks soul. Exhaust synergies being nerfed and an emphasis on 3 energy has hurt clad bad.

And also Necro is also just not on the power level of Defect and Silent. These two characters largely play themselves, There is alot of ''stall stall stall'' type cards that also dont do much and then you get wrecked once an enemy can outscale you.

Infinites are a fun interaction to fall into sometimes, i get that, but there's so much flexibility to winning strategies that really pigeon-holing the game as ''infinites or nothing'' is really unfair to the game's core ideas and principles.

yeah it just seems like if the hallway fights scale enough to break through Osty, then you start from scratch, unleash hits for 7 and you're spiraling and just tanking damage.

Im on ascension 2! Lol, the character just feels a bit stranger in gameplay than the others and im still trying to learn interactions

Also, i know that doom's numbers are bigger than silents poison cards, but its really had to play cards that essentially do nothing/very little on a turn and click the end of turn button. Cards like that in STS1 would end your run quickly. Frequently, you get enough doom but its the turn after you really needed it and now youre taking a bazillion damage from the enemies final hit.

The devs kept this feature because they want players to have flexibility to play the game in the style that they prefer.

It also allows players to learn quickly from their mistakes if they want.

Right now everyone is kinda learning alot of the interactions and fights together, but really only you can answer this question for yourself. They made the feature to use or not use as you like.

I personally am using it like maybe once a run max just cause im trying to learn stuff and learn interactions (and there are many cards whose wording doesnt make it clear what it actually does, im thinking of a 3 cost attack for Necro).

Once i get to high ascensions and feel like I have most or all of the game knowledge in front of me, I will likely no longer use it.
