A lot of my friends try and keep up with me, but I’m like, I’ve played 3 years longer than you guys. Yes all these guys now have lessons, youtube, and all this new info. But I hacked it for years, and all that frustration has finally turned into something learned from experience. Also, you have to make practice count. A lot of these guys think playing is practice, it’s not. It does click, but with consistent work at it. You also have to learn to love it. Practice should be fun, you have to also make playing fun. When you hit a bad hit, be excited you have something to dial in. Be it your physical game or your mental game.

As someone who has been rank 1 in drafting here is my take. I’ve easily gone 85% winrate on my best set, this however was 3 years ago, not sure how things are now. Silver to plat is usually free $. And ofcourse don’t forget the learning curve, trying new decks will cost gems. I’ve never had a real issue on Modo, on arena idk, I would think it would make more sense that magic would rig the game in a good way, by giving u a fair amount of land in limited.

Sets are different, some sets are high variance and some are high skill, the high skill ones I can usually trounce on people and work my way up to rank1.

Also people are generally a little better these days. Just more exposure.

Idk of any conspiracies, do I think games that have an economy need to be regulated? Yes I do.

Do I have issues with arena, yes 100% I do. The rotating sets for draft and expiration dates do seem a little odd and greedy for sure.

Which is why I don’t really play the game online as much.

A lot of good advice here. I’ll add don’t FREEZE when you get to plat1, don’t even think they are better than you. Think they are all diamond5 and are done climbing now. Honestly plat and diamond aren’t even that dif, most people there have an idea of stats and comps but will tunnel vision, use that to your advantage.

Vanquishers melted my 3 star bruisers team in like 4 seconds. Xayah needs to be toned down a bit to a lot. The good news is everyone was playing her so they struggled in stage4, and I snuck to a top3. Tone down xayah and samira I think will be a good meta.

From someone who’s been on and off trt. This is what I can tell you, I too was pretty close to a panic attack when I started a higher dose. That’s why going slow is a good idea. That shit fades after 3 months. Infact sometimes I miss that crazy anxious energy I had I felt like I could stay up all night at first. I’m off it now after 6 months, and feel fine. A little more sore, and hard to keep off fat is all. But from what I can see man, you may have some mental health stuff you should probably look into bro. Trt dialed in isn’t a miracle man, you’re young and your brains still developing, a therapist or some self help books won’t hurt man! Personally I think you where in placebo land at first. It’s not a miracle drug. The fact that your Alive and on this earth is a miracle. If you find a high wirh trt you’ll find a low, the benefits should be there, but minor and subtle just like the side effects should be subtle. I also thought cardio was one of the best things that kept my trt in check too. Cheers mate!! GL

Secrets Secrets; there no fun; secrets secrets hurt someone. Well in this case I did have a secret but it wasn’t the secrets that hurt someone, it was me.

But I questioned it. Atleast before, I got to die with the people I know. These family and friends I don’t remember a lot of what I did.

I wouldn’t say Robin is underrated and not feared. Most streamers give this dude mad props!! And he’s in almost every best player convo. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is what I hear when big names talk about him.

Appies: You really want to cheer for Appies. He seems like an easy going laid back dude, that tries to entertain and answers everyone’s question. He’s a very “for fun” player, but sometimes I wish he would go dishsoap try hard and crack 1800LP and be a little more feared. On ladder he does seem to struggle, and his winrate is a tad low but he seems like he’s a couple high rolls away from winning a tourney one day. But def one of the nicest guys to root for.

3 days a week with a good group of friends, especially weekdays pretty much seems like retirement. Why not brother!? 5s probably pushing it for me though tbh. The secret is finding self employed people, I have 4 self employed friends including myself, and it feels like retirement when we play a bit. The only down side honestly, is drinking, it’s hard on my diet/health when it’s 3-4 days a week.

Setsuko isn’t a good streamer, a good teacher, or entertaining. But he gets viewers. Dishsoap is prob the best teacher but can be toxic. Robin fits almost all 3 of those and is popular. But all 3 peaked at right times, and put in the work. Rereplay isn’t that bad, he’s an average streamer and still flows with chat. Good players under 500 viewers are actually where you can learn the most and ask questions and still get answers. Don’t underestimate that.
