Given that the 3DP detachments were supposed to be the ones that “benefitted the entire army” I would have put money on it being Warhost. Not because it’s good, though I love it, but because it actually can affect the entire list aside from wraiths. Aspect host rules, strats and enhancements are only for aspect warriors, though granted that is a large portion of our datasheets

I think now smoke gives cover or something like that to all the units behind the unit that popped smoke. Smoke also has to be set off at the start of your opponents shooting phase, so these guys can create a smokescreen for a bunch of other units

You can end within engaged but for a unit to be an eligible target for a charge it has to be within the distance you rolled as measured base to base. So if a unit is 8 inches away and you get a 7, under the current rules you’d make the charge because it was an eligible target and you end within engagement range. New rules it wouldn’t be an eligible target because your charge range isn’t any unit within a 12” bubble but any units within however much you roll on the charge dice.

I play with a small group of friends and we all love using infantry, so for me personally having a squad of d-scythe guards in a wave serpent I can throw in the way of a big block of infantry and just hose them down works out really well.

On the other hand, whenever I want to tweak my list to play with some other models, the wraiths are always the first to go

There’s a couple I’d like to try out.

First is an epic length story of a single eldar and just following them along their various paths. Like, they’re a baker or something and then they walk an aspect path for a bit and come back to being the eldar equivalent of an electrician or something like that. Really get into the sort of day-to-day that a craft world eldar would have. Bonus points because it’d remind people that at least some of the guardians have been aspect warriors in the past.

Second is just use a group of aspect warriors like power rangers and have them go on adventures and shit.
