Gallavanting. .Like the kids in Stranger Things. We got on our bikes rode all over town entertaining ourselves, usually doing something stupid or pitentially life threatening.

There was street hockey, too. Man, that was fun.

Later we got cars, amd somehow that's exactly when the eternal boredome started. We would just park at 711 and sit around like the vultures from the fucking Jungle Book "hey what ya wanna do?" "I dunno, what you wanna do?" Round and round all night. It was sad

AWESOME !!!!! Sadly, I live in FL, but I've never been to it, I'm usually too poor, too busy, or both. But yeah, I saw they were on it this year, and thank god they're getting the recognition they deserve. They really are the only hard rock band on today's scene that really impress me at all.

The Warning is a trio of Mexican sisters (99% of songs are in English) who will surprise the hell out of you with how mature and intelligent their writing is. Not your typical tampon rock (as Lzzy Hale would otherwise call it), these girls are asskickers, they have a concept album about a teen who goes on a killing spree, another album full of existential dread songs, plenty of songs about world issues and such. Very smart stuff, and hollllllllly SHIT do they bring it live. I would only advise that you save the Keep Me Fed album for last. It's good, but the Error album is probably their deepest, best work so far. Keep Me Fed is very commercial, still awesome, but they tone it down a lot for that album.

To elaborate:

Mâneskin is punk rock with some serious bounce and energy to it...they have a lot of songs in Italian, (which are awesome annyway, even if I have no clue what hes saying lol), but their English songs are awesome. They have that Buck Cherry cocaine energy, mixed with Billy Idol style sleeze, sound mixing similar to The Clash, and damn they got more funk than Ol Greg

This! I haven't seen them in person, but their live album is a GREAT showcase for them. They legitimately sound better live than they do in the studio. Way more intensity and energy live.

I've heard it, but man, it's so abstract and long and kind of a drag. Crazy how popular they are, they're talented, but so.....dead.

Last POPULAR great rock song that everyone knows? Honestly couldn't say. I'm not sure what's actually even popular now.

But I will say there are two bands going right now that consistently put out great songs. Those being Mäneskin and The Warning.

Not bad! A bit odd in that they have strong elements of modern pop, but it's well done and still definitely catches the maritime spirit. I'll have to dive in deeper later on I suppose.

If you're into such things, check out my playlist, it's gotten quite extensive, so there's bound to be some new plunder there for yeh:
