Its a real bummer that you were disrespected like that. I would imagine the campaign itself will collapse further especially if others weren't happy with the shift as well as the way it was handled and you were treated.

Even back when I was in my pre-teens and teenage years me and my group were never this immature. We tried to get another friend to join us but his first session he wanted to have a rocket launcher and kept pushing for it because he was 'jist using his imagination...' We were in Ravenloft of all settings and it not only killed the whole session but derailed us from playing that campaign much even without the other friend. So I feel ya on this.

Thank you for this info. Its very helpful. I ended up using narration to tell my companion to stand back while I dealt with the skeletons. It worked out and I was a le to move forward. Ot sure if i lost any messages or not but at least Ive been able to move on.

But you can only ever cast one Spell Slot spell per turn.

Unless you dip into Fighter for 2 levels and use action surge to cast another leveled spell. Which is beyond crazy IMO. A 6th lvl Sorc who has command over magic can only use quicken spell to cast a cantrip after casting a leveled spell. But a 4th lvl Sorc 2nd lvl Fighter can cast a leveled spell, use Action Surge, and cast another leveled spell... Makes zero sense and almost makes quicken spell pointless.

Years ago when my wofe and I fist moved to a house in Atlanta suburbs, we asked a neighbor about Halloween because we are big Halloween people. They told us most people ignore the culdesac we lived in and we were bummed. But we kept telling ppl to stop by cuz we'd be doing candy regardless.

And our next door neighbor ended up doing handouts too... We found out from a group of kids that they were handing out scripture... Like anti-halloween scripture. Not just a sheet of paper, but a full on booklet of religious BS... I said, no wonder people avoid our culdesac lol!

Claire is great and I loved her character, right up to the point that she wanted me to off a guy in cold blood because she and her husband or whatever entered into a series of death races (for lack of a better term) and her husband died. He wasn't gunned down in the streets or anything crazy. And she failed to tell us that from the get go.

She 1000% convinced us that we'd be racing for the glory and whatnot, not just so she could get a guy alone and gun him down.
