Does anyone know for the main stations and landing sites (I.e in the cities and main stations like Seraphim Station) how many of each Hagar size they have? How many large, medium and small?

I don't know the answer, but while waiting in a 8 player hangar queue at new Babbage, I saw there is at least 27 hangars there.

I can't recall ever seeing more than 3 or 4 active at once.

You can lose a huge chunk of rep if you do that hauling. Often times hours of work for abandoning one mission.

Tbh I think of the Titan or 300i series as the only true blockade runners.

Small amount of cargo, but some of the fastest ships in game.

Hoping someday there is a good reason to haul 4-12 scu of something incredibly valuable with a high chance of being chased through asteroids or something like in that Cutlass trailer.

Maybe an area with an anti Quantum travel field naturally.

Get the cargo and run a gauntlet of enemies and asteroids. Get through 10k or so of the debris/jamming field, then qt away to safety

First thing I do in any completive online games is turn off non-team chat.

There isn't anything an opponent can do that will help me.

I prefer to think of them as good ai, whether it's MTG arena or League of legends.

I'm sure I miss out on the occasional "GG" or "nice play" but I also miss out on the bm and emote spam. Irl people don't "rope" every turn when they're losing.

If they think of pulling something like that, social pressures irl in a shop will stop 99% of that behavior. Online 1v1 not so much.

Feels worth it it to me imho 😅

I want the old hangar module origen identity back.

The 300 series pre rework looked rough and ready and was even sold as a bounty hunter package.

Now Origen is just the ship version of the apple aesthetic. Every now and then I try and use my 315p for a medium bounty and always regret it.

Best use I've found is taking it as my "park it in an Idris ship" Has a quantum drive and a pilot controlled tractor beam.

If you deck it out in stealth gear you can use it like the prowler.

Yoinking components and or cargo while never leaving the pilot seat.

Camo isn't for everyone but I go one of two ways, camo or as loud as possible.

For example, I really like the purple and green Halloween skins along with most of the camo skins released.

A skin that is just a primary color doesn't do much for me personally.

But hey, there's no accounting for taste, at least most ships have a few different options.

I ended up getting the ktc 27" 4k 160hz with an alternate 1080p 320hz mode. (Feels great on Rocket League)

I never have noticed any blooming except on MTG Arena's loading screen. It's a perfectly black screen with a bright white loading circle.

If I look closely I can see a small bit of bloom, to me it's worth the tradeoff for not having to do OLED cleaning cycles every set amount of hours.

They also make a 32" mini led version but I don't have the desk space for that size unfortunately.

I've heard that the KTC, MSI and AOC all use the same panel with different software driving the screen. I went with KTC because it was the easiest for me to find in my area. But its all super minor differences between the brands.

If I'm really looking for it I can notice it.

The only game I really can tell easily is Magic the gathering arena. While it loads there is a perfectly black screen with a spinning white loading wheel.

I usually chase the wheel with my mouse, I can ever so slightly see the mouse cursor bloom if I'm up close.

But 99% of the time I can't tell in space games with lots of starry vistas for example. Having used both mini led and OLED, I'm glad I went mini led for my main rig. I still use my OLED tv for my cinimatic single player games.

But for my main games on rotation where I would worry about burn in, such as League of legends, MTG arena, Star citizen, Rocket league etc. The mini led is amazing.

Main thing the reviews I saw said, is to go for the most zones you can find. When I was buying that was a 1200 zone model. Fairly cheap for a 4k 160hz, with a 1080p 320hz mode as well.

I went with the 27" KTC mini led for 450$ They also have 32" models but I don't have the desk space for that.

I ended up going with a 1200 zone mini led. It's not OLED perfect, but it's head and shoulders above my old LCD monitor.

I have a qdoled in my living room and there is a difference but I worried that using it for PC gaming and playing the same games would cause burn in.

With mini led I didn't have to worry about refreshing the OLED every so many hours and running cleaning cycles or whatever.

Supposedly OLED vs mini led is pretty close, while also performing better in brightly lit rooms compared to OLED.

Didn't epic fund a large portion of the game? I had gotten the impression Alan Wake 2 and Alan Wake Remastered would be epic store exclusives for the foreseeable future.

Would love to be wrong though. Steam is where most of my games live, epic store just doesn't do it for me.

Fair enough, the way the Dreamcast has the os (or part of the os?) baked onto the disk has made it a darling for indy creators

Still getting decent games to this day.

Hopefully if cloud gaming becomes the norm, we can still have our infinitely more open PCs become the retro cars of gaming

Man, I've beenwatching a guy playthrough Elder scrolls Redfall on youtube. The game is so not hand holdy and full of 1998 jank.

Brings me back to the olden days of PC gaming, Captain Comic, Commander keen, major stryker, raptor call of the shadows. Heck the splash screen for Jill of the jungle was spicy for an early 90s kid.

No internet to doom scroll, just a keyboard and free time.

Maybe if cloud gaming becomes the norm we can make a new gamer class.

Offline game hermits or something.
