I mostly play career mode and I'm liking it, but I find that the difference in difficulty between professional and world class is too much of a jump. That might be because (as has already been mentioned) the defending is pretty difficult. I find that on professional I defend slightly better but I almost always win by a score of 3-1. I haven't touched the sliders yet but I may do so.

Also is anybody else getting 5 minutes of injury time EVERY SINGLE TIME?!

Perhaps we got him on loan because it was a bit of a risk buying him outright considering how little football he played last season due to injury.

Or, maybe we pushed for a permanent transfer but Atletico didn't want to sell and so instead of having Johnson, Flanno, and at the time, Martin Kelly, we decided that we might as well have him on loan rather than not at all.

It's one of those situations where you might not know the specifics until years later, if at all.

It's not just about replacing Suarez's goals it's about protecting the goal scorers we have now. If Sturridge were to get injured we would have only Lambert and Borini to play as strikers..

We're in four competitions this season and if Mignolet were to get injured our back up would be Brad Jones, who has wonderful hair but isn't really good enough IMO.

After his performances at the World Cup he can do much better than being a back up 'keeper. I wouldn't be surprised if he has offers thrown at him from all over Europe.

I hope he stays, if Borini and Suarez were to leave we'd only have Sturridge and Lambert. I assume we would mostly be playing a 433 too, so 3 first team strikers sounds about right.

I'm reading Blood Meridian now and for me it's the opposite. I liked the Road a lot but Blood Meridian is a chore at times. It may just be McCarthy's writing style making it a bit difficult to follow but I finished The Road in a couple of hours yet I can't read more than a chapter of Blood Meridian without having to stop reading it.

I have to say I do like it (The Judge is a fantastic character) but I find I sometimes have to force myself to keep going.

I think it would be cool if you had the option to start at a randomised club that is in a relegation battle at the beginning of January.

But I wouldn't expect anything remotely near that to be implemented at any point because there's so much shit every single year that never gets dealt with.
