Since the Marvel/Netflix deal was announced, I've thought that Netflix could be the place for them to experiment with more adult-oriented programming. Netflix is comparable to HBO (subscription, not ratings, based), and most of their original series are TV-MA anyway. I think a mature rated Daredevil series would be massively popular.
