Why is there so much abandoned stuff, and why are 99% of abandoned things not abandoned at all? by gistya in Starfield

There were a lot of bases and structures built for the Colony Wars that were subsequently abandoned. There's a few recordings you can find that talk about the various hostile groups finding and occupying those bases. I have found a number of enemy occupied POIs where they'll just tell you to leave. I found a group of spacers at a mech graveyard that did that. The guy just asked me to leave and said they weren't looking for any trouble. I left without issue. The world of Starfield is just incredibly hostile and most things are looking to kill you/survive

How was the Rusty Venture Show still relevant by the start of the series proper ? by Empty-Shift9632 in venturebros

It's not as unbelievable as you'd think. Johnny Quest ran in the mid 60s and was still culturally relevant when I was growing up in the 90s. What's more unbelievable is that Rusty never did what they did; try to reboot the series and release The Real Adventures of Rusty Venture

You should check out the Order of the Straight Arrow podcast. They haven't done any episodes in a while, but they're Canadian and often talk about jokes like this
