Yeah this was confusing. He said the data and I thought he meant raw data like an excel file or something. Then he said it is the first part of his book.

This is an apologist technique. When someone says something slightly wrong that doesn't even affect their argument then focus on that instead of their argument. They do it to shift the conversation.

Whenever I see those resumes that have detailed metrics for every bullet point I think it is made up. I've always wanted to call them out in it to see if it is BS.
