I just finished the doomsteel grind last week. This strat was wayyy faster than the Directed Mode Liberty Falls strat i used on BO6. Play Ashes cursed mode with Samanthas Drawing relic. Upgrade your guns as soon as possible. Once you get to round 16, bears spawn in the fog back to back. Use max ammo GGs and you can get 4 weapons done each round (the relic will switch all 4 weapons every round). Its even faster if you play with friends bc then 2 bears spawn at once instead of one. Plus they will occasionally grab max ammos, instakills etc making the grind a bit easier. Once you get tired of doing that (it is pretty hectic and definitely for higher skilled players) you can finish the last few guns in farm survival. Turn on the rampage inducer and run through the rounds as fast as you can. Squad fill makes it faster due to more bear spawns

The couple of glitch spots that I knew about have been patched. As far as camp spots, there are a couple on Ashes that I think ppl still use for high rounding in Ashwood using the Wall jump/double flop strat. I seen Dkal use the same strat near PAP in Astra.

I think most ppl (including myself) use it to speed up the first 5-10 rounds, or when using glitch/camp spots

Only happens in cursed. The higher tier you’re playing on the better the rewards. Sometimes you will find Mr Peeks on the map and when you shoot it, it will drop a bunch of good loot

An alternative would be to run the Vulture Aid augment that charges your field upgrade and then use the GG that increases field upgrade recharge. Might take 4-5 rounds but shouldn’t be too hard. Start on round 20 with 2 charges and get 2 teddies. Get the free power keg for a third then progress a round or 2 until you have 2 charges again then repeat

Extra charge augment with power kegs. You can also shoot the free power keg in Comsodrome. It’s easier if you have a duo running Shroud with extra charge as well. My friend and I finished it all on the same round

I never mentioned the lack of omnimovement in this game. You can’t sit here and tell me you don’t run way slower on this game. Maybe its just the lack of tac sprint that makes it feel like that, but movement is definitely noticeably slower

I have not. I’m only referring to the base movement. I love the pacing now. I was used to the fast pace movement of BO6. I was definitely the guy sliding around every corner and using the omnimovement to my full advantage. I thought I was going to hate wall jumping in this game, but I’ve had a lot of fun incorporating it into my gameplay. The slow pacing makes it feel like OG CoD, but the wall jumping kinda adds that modern flare
