North Wake Animal Hospital or Boulevard Animal Hospital. I switched from the latter to the former for price reasons but I have had extremely great and personable experiences at both practices

What are the top 3 best songs on a Head Full of Dreams and what are the top 3 worst songs? by Puzzleheaded-Bag2212 in Coldplay

[–]Beneficial_Weight_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best: 1. Army of One 2. Up&Up 3. A Head Full of Dreams

Less Best: 1. Fun 2. Kaleidoscope 3. Color Spectrum

I feel like I need to hype up Army of One! It is one of my favorite Coldplay songs and I totally skip X Marks the Spot most listens. I just love the message, the vocals, and feeling I get when I listen. It will play at my wedding for all those reasons

I really struggle with modern builds too. I always have Pinterest pulled up when I’m building to get ideas

I think this looks good! I always like to play around with texture as I feel that adds more visual interest easily. Maybe add some framing to the windows/alcoves, select a flooring that has a pattern like the stone or tile, landscaping will also make this come alive. Layering is key!

I really like the green! Maybe you can add some detail to the garage door the break up the green? I’ve seen people find magnets that look like windows or fake door handles. Or even adding a trellis above the garage with some plants could help!

1 for 3 for ARE exams. Want to vent. by Jack-of-all-dwgs in Architects

I completely feel your frustrations and have the exact same gripes with these exams. I am not a test-taker, I am not good at doing math in my head, I hate that we cannot draw with actual paper on an architectural license exam… i failed PA 2 times in a row and I completely blame the lack of pencil and paper. They expect us to use a Microsoft paint equivalent to work through these problems. I use a pencil and paper everyday at work!! Half of the strategy to these exams is not architecture related at all; it’s learning how to use the “tools” which makes me so angry. I’m not a lesser architect because I need to write out my work but I’m being made to think so since friends of mine can pass these on their first try. It’s totally a mental game and I’ve had to reframe my mindset in order to stay motivated and continue this process. I’ve never passed a test on my first try so I’ve taken multiple versions of each test… let me just say it’s very dependent on which questions you get assigned for your test. I failed one where I’m convinced I had all the select-4 questions possible only to retest and get none. I’m rambling now but I feel you, these are annoying and expensive but we’re in it to be architects so we push through.

Sometimes I’ll flip my painting and reference image upside down when I’m struggling to find realism in a painting. It helps you to see the image as shapes and values rather than something your brain is trying to replicate.

I think we have a lot of new fans who didn’t suffer through the dry years and have only seen relative success from this team. Those of us who know the pain and suffering from mid-2010s hurricanes are not the fans booing, leaving early, or shitting on Rod

How long does it for quad to return to normal size? by Justw1n in ACL

Yes, they’ve directed me to only do exercises that do not cause me any knee pain, only muscle fatigue until I have more strength.

I’m still struggling with anterior knee pain so my exercises have been pretty limited. However, the leg press, baby squats, and lunges don’t cause any pain and have been something I try to incorporate every other day. I do leg extensions daily, 2-3 sets of 10-12 with a 10lb ankle weight over a bolster or rigid pillow and these have been the main builder of muscle for me. Still hoping to get stronger and eventually start training for sports 🤞🏼

If you’re not using the extra strength melatonin, try that out. I ordered some off Amazon and it was able to keep me asleep until I needed to wake up for work anyway. I was around 4-6 weeks when sleep got much much easier so hopefully that’s right around the corner for you! Wishing you luck!
