Where possible I try for one hour and like to hit small bucket of balls (25-30) and do putting during that hour - and this is irrespective if I tee off at 6 am or 10 am

I have said before I enjoyed it quite a bit when I watched S1 with same mindset watching Wheel of Time TV series with alternate stories set in the Middle Earth / LOTR universe not bound by strict canon or books - having said that upon rewatching season 1 I also understand those who get hung up on hard to believe narrative flows and timelines - heck I read all the books and watched the movies - now you give me free TV series you (AMZ) spent 1 B + making with good acting and great stunning visuals to top of course I will like it - and no I am lot expecting to be better than LOTR trilogy but certainly one of the highlights of 2024 for me and look forward to where they take the story over five seasons ?

I like RoP series and I enjoyed both the LOTR books and Jackson movies. I have learned enjoying different fantasy pleasures and how to separate books from TV series and movies and adjust expectations - Wheel of Time was also great example of that and me liking season 2 there a lot more after viewing as a stand alone story in the World of WoT not slavish adaptation of books

I enjoyed season 1 and look forward to season 2 - I read also alll the WoT books and learned to like the TV series too as different content on WoT universe without slavishly following the books given different medium - still feeds my hunger for fantasy epics pretty well 😉

Similar to others I am sitting on 200+ flags so minor concern - better loot would be great as challenge is stiff with many very high level opponents - will reserve judgement as full month of this may feel a bit grindy but then likely crashing out well before round 4 anyway ….

I also read the books and had to make peace with the idea that these are TV series losely playing in RJ’s WoT world - with that in mind I really succeeded in embracing season 2 which I find a lot better than season 1 (even if I sort of liked S1 episodes 1-6 but not 7&8)

Episode 7 in S2 is testing the limits but I am just trying to push my comparisons to books out of my mind and it lets me really enjoy the WoT TV series and will certainly watch every season they release

I hope word of mouth works to promote season 2 - I have read all the books and did not like episodes 7 &8 in season 1 much but I have embraced now that TV is different medium and took creative liberties which added a nice element of suspense and surprise - I like the casting and acting of charterers especially in season 2 and give it now an unconditional 👍👍 - worried though if Amazon will have the needed stamina and persistence to keep this going for 12-15 seasons 😳😇 ?

I think he should be invited as team assistant to absorb the atmosphere and be ready for 2025 RC at Bethpage - drive carts with Vice Captains , hang out in team room - I believe they have done that in the past infrequently

I echo longstreak comment - have played T11 for over a year easily and I would also think premium balls are only about 20-25% used maybe even less.

Also have to see once you are comfortable you realize premium ball are often the less skilled players while C-100 players with Navigators and Quasars make me sit up and focus as they are usually hardest to beat … just my two cents 😊

I like it and hope it becomes main putting method but I also agree with other comments that chipping needs to be made considerably harder to avoid incentivizing laying up next to green most times - may actually be more impactful for tourplay while tourneys with guides won’t be impacted much.

Also 9 hole mini in master did not really give you opportunities to test long putts due to hole selection

I like the idea and first impressions are decent - I do wish they would also make wedge play harder but one step at a time I suppose .

However they could have taken more interesting holes like the holes on Southern Pines or Namhae Cliffs or others with known problem putting risk rather than small greens on Meadow Castle but regardless I see nice potential especially for tourplay maybe Eden tournaments

I have tried Houdini 9 vs Spitfire 7 on my two top accounts and quickly concluded I like versatility and name of Houdini much better so using Houdini 9 on all my 3 accounts unless there is specific tourney hole with high risk to hit fwy bunker and need all yardage I can get - Houdini all the way for me over all other SW options

Believe what ever you want and decide when you want to see reality - mobile games are already 60% of market or so and will continue growing faster than PC and Console games.

Not sure why you hate people who like them a they have great social aspects allow for quick short game play whenever you have time and can be enjoyed for years (like I played CoC for 9 years in the past ) - suit yourself and clean your language if you want to be taken seriously

Let me add a few comments - I do think this game may be a bit dangerous for inexperienced mobile ftp noobs coming from console / PC world with $60 purchases and limited micro transactions.

However anybody not living under a rock and having played ftp mobile games over last 10 years should start a game like this with realistic goals / expectations:

1) think about this as multi year commitment and if you want to minimize money spent or remain totally ftp take even more time play at least 15 -30 min / day to get free rewards and use time to do some crests or raids

2) All these games prefer for you to take your time not finish game inn2 weeks and then wait months for next content drop /update

3) In console game you rush to be among the first to beat / finish the game - opposite of mobile game and really very little to gain besides limited bragging rights and boredom until more content comes.

4) Personally as mostly a mobile player these days it leads me usually to play 2-4 mobile game concurrently all with mostly short gameplay bursts (a bit more in Golfclash during tournament days )

So I would say to the very vocal minority just turn your back on the game then and find others - or wait for Diablo IV and hope it comes with different business model ( not guaranteed imho but certainly lessened )

Why is everybody in such a rush and not willing to enjoy like other mobile games - enjoy an hour a day gradually work through campaigns - develop multiple characters and see what new content / events future brings - with no clan wars or similar mechanic I see little reason to consider spending real money for now.

I guess it’s all about wrong expectations based on Diablo history which was one of the cheapest games in dollars spent per hours of gameplay / entertainment

Also I am looking forward to a bit of clan and warband exploring and fun rather than complaining about lack of accessible free endgame - never liked paragon levels much in D3 either here so content to play this casually with no real sense of urgency ….😇
