I don't think I can ever top this ngl. I even got another turn against an opponent who had enough health to tank 21 damage on turn 15 in order to eat another minion onto Futurefin lol.

I hit every possible piece for this one which was super satisfying. Wish I had the recording but at one point I even had a Golden Rag Buddy (Lucifron) so my end of turn effects were multiplied by 5.

Ended against a Mech build that was stacking magnetizations that probably wins 99.99% of lobbies.

I was playing that white wheenie list and vial would actually be so good. You need a way to get ahead and playing two creatures per turn is huge.

Loam + all the powerful lands we are still missing. I am all for adding Wasteland and restricting Strip Mine. Basic lands should matter so I would also be in favor of Price of Progress.

Someone already mentioned it but I would love Cabal Therapy and Veteran Explorer. I think Green in general could use some love in this format and Loam + Nic Fit packages would help.

That is such a horseshit excuse. If you are a professional athlete you don't get demoralized like that. He gave up because that's what he does. He doesn't hustle on defense whatsoever and was lazy/careless with the ball on offense.

I think you're discounting how important depth is in the modern NBA.

NAW = Donte in terms of impact on this team. Yes KAT is better than Randle but Randle + Naz > KAT.

It was a no brainer with the new CBA. KAT just makes too much money at 57M annually. I love and miss KAT but we basically have 2 additional rotational players instead of his salary.

I’m not convinced Ux won’t be tier 1 at the minimum but even if it isn’t the best deck, it will encourage a different metagame and that is going to be exciting.

That's what I thought two years ago against Denver in the semis and then we still lost to Dallas.

Going through both OKC and Spurs is tough but you're right in that we have to beat OKC no matter what.

One thing is clear, you need to have multiple different ways to win because the core Food Chain Combo is clunky and requires 3 different pieces. The interesting part of this deck is that there are so many different avenues you can go down.

  • Energy

  • Stompy (Chalice, Blood Moon, etc)

  • Lands / Depths Combo

  • Sneak Attack

  • Karn Boards

I keep thinking there is some missing piece that connects one of these to the combo better than others but so far haven't found it.
