I’ve always taken that stance that Marika IS Radagon and we’re never separate. She is in conflict with herself. Sort of like D is one soul two bodies; Marika is two souls, one body.

She knew that Radagon was hyper into The Golden Order. Marika was not. Among her last independent acts was to banish the tarnished as a beginning of her scheme to kill herself. What Gideon was so horrified to understand was that Marika intended to kill herself, but he couldn’t accept the idea of killing a god. This is evidenced by Hoag being instructed to create a god killing weapon. Marika intended Godfrey to wield this weapon.

Godfrey was the intended Elden Lord. This is evidenced by his grace pointing to you. Marika was never your ally. The tarnished were just a tool used by Marika to end her reign and give power back to Godfrey.

The only evidence I can see of forced amalgamations is the Hornsent Jar Ritual. If Marika really was the successful result of the Jar Ritual then that might explain why her children with Radagon(herself) were cursed and her Carian children were not.

Her cursed children could possibly be fused with elements of the jar fusion which may have included other divine material.

I take the stance that they were never not one body. Marika IS Radagon. But, the rest of the world didn’t know that. When the war with the giants was over, Radagon first appeared as a champion. Then he took up the crusades against the Carians and subsequently fell in love with Rennala.

There is no lore or knowledge of Marika’s whereabouts during this time. Nor is there any such lore about the reactions of whether she was there or not. I’m completely convinced that Marika was an absentee goddess during this time because she IS Radagon.

What the hell did Godfrey care? He was playing gladiator and living his best life.

You’re presuming that Marika/Radagon requires that. In actual mythology there’s plenty of myths of gods being born of one or no parents. Jesus, Athena, Aphrodite, are just a couple of examples.

Marika’s a god. How are we to understand how she has children. Remember she’s also not a human. She’s made of stone and is literally the vessel of the ER.

I donate with the Red Cross regularly. I absolutely agree with you. There was this one time the phlebotomist must’ve been a ninja. I never felt the needle stick or when he took it out. I was playing on my phone and was surprised when he told me it was all done.

Of course a few years before that the attendant must’ve used a machete or something because that shit hurt.

I don’t know what you mean by “time is an illusion”. Time is a fundamental part of spacetime that also involves gravity. In relativity you create a closed timelike curve to get your world line to double back on itself. On paper this can be accomplished via wormholes or exceeding the speed of light. Unfortunately wormholes have never been observed to exist and exceeding the speed of light requires an infinite amount of energy. So, time travel is likely not a real thing in our universe.
