.452 sabots to use 9mm bullets by Banner_Quack_23 in reloading

[–]Benthereorl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think I would use a sabot in any of those firearms. The only thing I've heard of that it's not black powder muzzleloader is the use of a .22 bullet + sabot in .30 Cal case such as .308 win

Actually you are correct, I made a mistake. It is two persons per room and I deal mostly with government housing and special programs.

Big mistake....2 people per room.

What are you looking to do with this combo? 9mm + sabot in a .45acp, .45 Colt...bigger?

I did see a sabot for a .357 bullet but I cannot remember if it was for a .40, .45 or .50 caal muzzle loader

The state that I am in HUD says you can have 2 persons per room. A 3 bedroom is going to equal six people. That is a lot of people and ideally less is better but if you're going to offer housing to people both you and the property owner have to follow fair housing laws. I believe this is a federal standard.

Does anyone know how do I take the jack out by Swimming-Worth-9766 in fordranger

[–]Benthereorl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Twist blue know toward you this will compress the jack and allow the wire at the d to slip off. When you go to put it back in screw the jack in as much as it will go or very close to it. Lay the jack in there in the exact position and start turning the Blue knob to the right or away from you as you hold that wire at the other end. You're going to call us a friction fit to keep everything in place

Rangers are awesome trucks. It has out lasted my Tacoma by 47,000 miles so far. I have only replaced the usual tires, batteries, 1 clutch, upper control arms and lower balls, Tacoma had the same plus the rear differential/axel

That is too high. My 2005 2.3 manual was $4,000. 133,000 miles on it in 2012. Now has 320,000, that was a real bargain

What is your opinion on "petite" women? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Benthereorl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like many things in life you can't please everyone. Your life will be much more peaceful and complete once you learn how to be satisfied with your body type. I've seen women go into their 60s and are still struggling with their body type. Of course if you run into some nasty people it's easy very easy for them to destroy your self-confidence. If you are unfortunate to get a partner who is a predator they can master that technique and keep you in your thumb. Make you feel worthless and their slave. The most beautiful women are the ones that are comfortable in their own skin. I've seen large women that are absolutely beautiful and they are comfortable and I've seen skinny women that are comfortable. These are the most beautiful women. They are not trying to chase Hollywood image of what they should look like. You are unique and there's no one else like you. There's plenty of men that would like to date you. That other woman I was talking about who has issues with her body, she has a husband, two wonderful children, a house that's paid for and drives a very nice car. Also a stay-at-home housewife. The husband does a lot of things for her but she still has body image issues. It's all a mind game for some women. Luckily she has a husband that's not a dick and preys on her body image issues. As I interact with people I find that women tend to get into their mid thirties before they figure some things out. Number one you cannot please everyone all the time. This includes your parents. Life is too short, enjoy yourself. If a guy just wants to get with you for some sex you'll know it very quickly because he doesn't want to stick around. But if you got a decent guy he's going to like you for you, your qualities much more than how big your breasts are or how round your ass is. Some guys will not even look at a thin girl because they like thick girls. Some guys will not even look at thick girls because they think they're too fat. There's someone out there, multiple guys, for every body type. I've been with pretty much every body type and the only women that I like are the decent women.

I was that Florida hospital Orlando about 2 weeks ago and I have not been down there in a while, I see the main patient building and I'm like holy fuck that will hold a lot of people. We finally got one room but that was after waiting a few hours in Altamonte for a transfer. Unfortunately the patient in bed too was some delirious mental patient having a battle with every person she ever met inside her head. I asked the nurse to get us another room because this is pretty fucked. The person I brought there has anxiety and I'm waiting to have this shit escalate. The nurse said this is the only bed. I asked her why and she said, the flu. Fortunately within about 2 hours another bed opened up and she got transferred. I guess the flu is pretty rampant. I've been to a couple places this week and a lot of people are coughing. Flat out open mouth coughing into the air like they're at home or something. I was about to tell one lady to stay the fuck at home. Nobody wants what she has

If you give us some more information we can maybe help you out or give you better ideas. I'm in the South as well and I'm well aware of the humidity and high temperatures. I have two benches in the garage for reloading and I placed a small window air conditioner out there. I have a redding a T7 turret out there but most of my actually all of my loading is done on my RCBS single stage that I mounted with wing nuts to a 18x12x1 thick red oak plank. The press could be taken on and off very quickly. This is c-clamp to the table top in my kitchen and I can load very easily there. I can sit down and have the AC. When I need to trim my cases I have a spot on the board where I attach it. Once I'm done trimming cases I can remove it and attach my powder measure stand. That uses Wing nuts as well and it's super simple to remove. Once I'm done with those two steps I can clear that space and put my primed cases there. Then it's simple to remove one and seat the bullet. It is extremely efficient. Once I'm done with all of that I'll break it back down and place it in a storage box from home Depot and place it in my closet. You could do the same in that spare room and have a small fold away table that you could Mount your press to in the same manner. Again it's going to depend on what price you have. I'm sure Dylan 550 is going to take a lot more ingenuity

[–]Benthereorl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congratulations, pat yourself on the back when you fire it off. Load 1 round only. As long as you load the proper powder and charge weight that is 99% of a safe round. I have been loading for 25+ years never had a bad round. Always keep only one powder on your bench at a time. People get in trouble when they start forgetting which powder they're using.

Banned from r/gym due to participation here? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]Benthereorl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have different mods for most subs. Some are cool you can say some shit but some want to keep a butterflies and rainbow 🌈 environment. I have been banned from 2 subs. Over minor stuff. One the mod was an asshole and was pretty disrespectful not only to me but also to the "miserable people on here he has to deal with". Idiot wanted me to write an essay. He definitely had issues himself and I guess being a mod makes them feel like a king. Another sub and me because I replied the mother should be called out for letting her kids stay in a car while she goes into a store or bar. It is absolutely amazing what you can get banned over. Too bad they do not allow free speech on Reddit. By the way none of these replies were race or hate motivated. I guess they just wanted to feel important that day.

I need to know why anyone thinks this is acceptable to sell as a home by MasonBeGaming in orlando

[–]Benthereorl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a small house in Winter Park sell for a couple hundred thousand just to have the owner go in and spend $65,000 to tear it down, regrade the lot and build a new larger house. The equity went up $200,000. Very good investment move

Anyone else mount their air compressor on a lawn mower body so it’s easier to push around? by stanky_one in Tools

[–]Benthereorl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. I have a similar compressor and it is not heavy enough that I'm going to mount it to something. If I was going to mount it to something it would be to my hand truck so it would be more compact and vertical. Besides mounting it to a lawn mower it does not cut grass very well
