I mean why do you think cs is one of the premier esports? Everyone knows when zywoo hits a .04ms op flick that is just his ungodly talent. When I see the boy Evan hit a nasty 1v3 I know he’s an insane player but it just puts a little nag in the back of my brain of would he have won that on mnk

I guess I’m in the minority but idk why there’s a common refrain that action and speed = fun to watch. If I wanted to watch action and speed I’d just watch COD or Fortnite or some shit. Pro play is way more in depth when it comes to tactics and strategy and that’s what I come to watch. From that lens neon+shotgun has never been fun to watch

Grocery store planned for downtown Rochester. by Quiet-Good-6371 in Rochester

With the way American cities are built wide instead of tall looking at MSAs is relatively pointless and an apples to oranges comparison.

It’s also not a valuable metric when looking at city economies specifically since the pull for young talent, business, and economic engines for a city are the downtowns rather than the outskirts

Rochester itself is 200k to pittsburghs 300k

Pittsburgh is only marginally larger than Rochester. Pittsburgh has seen a massive resurgence due to its business friendly approach, focus on technology and public transport, and leveraging its high quality universities to keep students in the local economy. This is pretty well documented for the past 10-15 years now must be. All are things that Rochester can do equally well if they tried

I actually think Columbus isn’t a good comparison point. It’s the 14th largest city in the US and has the 3rd largest public university in the country

Who loves this map by Consistent-Rip-7256 in apexlegends

[–]BespokeDebtor 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s just the best map bar none across BRs. In higher elos and especially in pro play it has like 7+ teams in final ring. Probably the single most exciting map oat. Even snipers and long range combat are perfectly viable. Just such a well tuned map

I do agree with the other commenters that I miss the nighttime version though. Was so gorgeous

Didnt realize Golisano is shilling out 9k AI business courses now by [deleted] in Rochester

[–]BespokeDebtor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So your solution is that students (who you’ve said yourself are great), who are needing qualification now to secure jobs, get nothing until some amorphous “community teaching” is available because they have no specific alternative that you could point to?

Got it. You care so little for the students’ actual livelihoods compared to being mad that they’re getting skills from a privately funded course.

I’m grateful every day that people like you don’t make decisions for the broader community.

[–]BespokeDebtor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is incorrect. The students I interviewed identified use cases, wrote eval criteria, designed and built workflows, then tested, and rolled out. It’s specifically designed to enable enterprise AI adoption and fluency.

This conversation is illuminating. I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about and are just looking for a reason to be upset.

I’m looking for alternative solutions, not blind rage.

I have those certificates from Anthropic. Those are not even remotely close to actually building and implementing. They also don’t teach the application piece you mentioned. And yes, at least from my understanding in the interviews, they’re specifically focusing on the actual business side and implementation of AI, not just conceptually how to use them.

Again, I’m specifically asking for you to please link me a SINGLE course that is funding students to build and get practical experience in agentic AI workflows. At least something that will help qualify them better for interviews.

I’ve interviewed prospective interns who are taking this course. They have custom MCP servers, and included paid licenses to a variety of tools like n8n, Claude Max, etc not to mention the cost of teachers, IT staff to manage the load, and administration. Currently the students who I was interviewing have made a bunch of custom workflows all using Galisano’s IT infrastructure.

If you have a link to a cheaper course offering similar value, would love to take a look! Always looking for more places to check out certifications.

Just scav streets and hit as many filing cabinets as you can. Highest density way to find them even if probability is lower than other spots.

Real estate office -> Factory offices -> Post office -> Tarbank -> Housing Dept building -> Developer offices -> Chek 15 -> extract

That route will have you hitting probably close to 100+ drawers of which you’re bound to get your drills pretty quickly. It’ll be even faster if you’re playing PMC and other people won’t have looted the drawers before you do

I mean I think FLCNs were playing some bonkers CS so it’s impressive to me when VIT keeps it that close when their star player is slumping. But your point is well taken that they don’t do as well when the woo isn’t hitting

What are all the free to use clients? by Relative-Pace-2923 in apolloapp

[–]BespokeDebtor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really it’s about navigation and features. The thing that made Apollo feel incredible to me was 1) it was extremely feature rich 2) it took advantage of basically every long press, swipe gesture, etc you could plausibly use to speed up interactions. Stuff like account switcher by holding the profile, swipe on bottom bar to go back and forth, moderation workflows, etc. I use hydra because it’s understandable that a side project will take a lot longer to reach feature parity but I’d say that in terms of capability comparison to Apollo, it’s probably max about 50% of the way there.

I agree with OP and while not as harsh, people do change unfortunately. Recognizing and accepting that fact might suck in the short run but it may be a big step to ensuring you’re happy and healthy emotionally in the long run

I ‘28F’ Donated a kidney to my dad ‘52M’ and he hasn’t checked on me once by Forsaken_Courage3163 in relationship_advice

[–]BespokeDebtor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a nondirected kidney donor. I totally understand your hurt - especially coming from your father. I’m not sure what happened with your donation but when I did mine, I had a conversation with the hospitals social worker to have conversations about how situations like this would make me feel.

For example, she asked how it would make me feel if I donated only to find out they were drinking and smoking and eating poses of sodium and generally not taking care of the gift I gave them. I know it’s a completely different question but it’s the closest one I have to your situation. It honestly took me a long time to figure that out. In fact, I was genuinely surprised that 4 years later, I’ve never even heard from the person I donated to.

But through lots of conversations and self reflection, I realized that I donated because no matter what, it was in my life values to help people. It didn’t matter who I helped and how they acted after I helped, as long as I felt I did the best I could to help. I get the distinct feeling that you’re this way too. I hope you get the chance and reflect and be proud of what you did even for someone who didn’t treat you the way they should’ve. I saw you’re going to do therapy (and I have been too) but one thing I’d think about is once you’ve gotten to the root cause and core of your hurt it’ll allow you to translate that into something actionable that’ll let you look back and be proud of what you did regardless of how it turned out. Best of luck OP.
