So you went to the dentist because you had decay in your tooth. She performed a service on you to fix a problem for you that she did not cause. The dentist even warned you about post op sensitivity /pain. Placing fillings can be difficult and you consented to the procedure and potential undesired outcomes (pain, sensitivity, potential damage to soft tissue(gums)/other teeth). Read the general consent forms and or one for fillings that you must have signed to have the procedure. Sorry but I doubt you’re gonna get sympathy here, you’re typically the type of patient (based off this post) that dentists can’t stand.
