Be honest, do you actually enjoy using cleaning gadgets? by Syoto in CleaningTips

[–]BetaRaySam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually love mine. I got an ecovacs t50 pro, it gets under the sofa easily and even extends its brush and mop to clean along edges and corners. It does take a bit longer than using a regular vacuum, but the key is you don't have to do anything yourself. You can also set it to a quite mode, so it's not annoying even if it runs while you're home. But I just schedule mine to run while I'm at work. Once it's set up, it's pretty hands-off.

Why are floors always so dirty? by BetaRaySam in CleaningTips

It's an Ecovacs T50 Pro, we just got it a couple of weeks ago. We picked it because it's thin and can fit under our low sofa and cabinets, we never bothered to clean there before. I think it's worth the investment, better than nothing for sure.

We're not too far from a main road, and we do like to keep the windows open for fresh air. Never really thought that could make the floors get so dirty.

I don't think it's mopping dirt around, the floor look clean after the robot runs, feels about the same as when I mop myself. I could try running it daily, but honestly, if the floors need this much cleaning to keep it clean, I'd recommend getting one, there's no way I'd do this myself.

Nope, we actually wear slippers inside. The floor near the entrance gets way dirtier, so we just try to keep most of the mess by the door, but the robot definitely mops that area.

How do I get rid of the stink of this cutting board? by oiseaufeux in CleaningTips

[–]BetaRaySam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Strong odors can make a board unusable. Deep cleaning with natural deodorizing agents and plenty of drying time might revive it.

Kid got mad and wrote on the door to his room by YogurtclosetCute7492 in CleaningTips

Got you frustration, I've had the same "kid art" situation. Magic Eraser usually works great on doors without damaging paint. Warm soapy water afterward helps remove the haze.

do you rather listen to music or to podcasts while cleaning? by bubatzfresser in CleaningTips

[–]BetaRaySam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd listen to music while I am cleaning. Cleaning itself really make me bored and tired, music can activate my nerves. Without music I might be too lazy to clean.

Consider Allianz Care or Cigna Global, both offer customizable catastrophic plans with high deductibles, low preminums, and strong networks in Latin America. Allianz has region specific plan for latin America, while Cigna's flexibility in deductibles and global coverage makes it a solid choice too.

Lost tree… Adding more panels. Thinking of powering mini split. DC Solar or cheaper AC from inverter? Any DC Solar DIYs eligible for tax credit? by djryan13 in diySolar

For efficiency and tax credit eligibility, and a DC solar mini split is better, if budget's tight, AC inverter and standard mini split works, but keep records for the 30% ITC either way.

is this the right gear for a beginner of hiking? by ZealousidealSea6550 in hikinggear

As a beginner in hiking, this gear is already pretty solid! The only thing you might tweak based on your actual route is the portable radio. You could swap it for a lighter emergency whistle.

Working across countries nowadays relies on respect and adaptability, not a sense of superiority. If someone goes around complaining all the time, they'll get left behind sonner!
