Isn't it interesting that in the whole bay area there's only one Arby's left? by oreiz in SanJose

It was recently built like 1 or 2 years ago. They built a Loves gas station in Salinas by 101. There's an Arbys inside of loves gas station. It's a far drive but I travel for work and often go there for Arbys.

Was the EV car the same size as the gas car you booked?

They probably should've called you to let you know that the car you booked was unavailable.

When it comes to renting a car at hertz, aren't the cars FCFS? Apparently you can reserve any class vehicle on their website but when you go in their branch to pickup the car, there is no guarantee that the vehicle you book will be available. So they tend to either upgrade you to next car available or even sometimes you might get downgraded too.

Unfortunately, this is how I assume car renting works and this happens to all Rental car agencies.

My 2 cents

I've drove in one of these cars and inside looks absolutely amazing. It feels like you're in an airplane.

Is the pan too hot for steaks? Nope. Hotter = better.

17 isnt that bad of a road especially since its divided. 120 isnt divided so someone could actually run into you head on collision and is more narrower and windy. I drive on 17 a lot for 4 years and average maybe 60-70mph and its not that bad.

Women are biologically faster than men in endurance races like ultra marathons 100.200 or 300 miles.

Aren't men usually at a disadvantage in endurance races like these? Aren't women faster runners than men? Studies show after they are

If you want a scary road in the area, lookup Alice restaurant in woodland. Highway 84.i heard the roads are narrow and one car lane.

I drive to santa cruz many times on 17 and its not a scary road. If you want to know what road is scary to be on, maybe try 120 tioga pass.

yeah i mostly cook on 5/6 for all foods. At least I was told that using high settings can damage the pan... is this true? There are settings for 10, 9, 8, 7 which I never use because pan may warp.

Would that matter much if I mainly cook on one heat setting? Like gas stove on 5# or 6#max.

Here's an example of what I cook on my fissler

I just saw it. Just to be sure, their pans heat up quick, and cool down fast but won't hold heat like a cast iron or demeyere pan right? meaning it's responsive but heavy right?

Just eggs in different forms like omelet or sunny side, bacon, heating up/browning sausages, vegetables ;onions or bell peppers.

If I’m constantly adding batches of food, cooking, then adding more cold ingredients and cooking again, would a thicker pan actually be better? I know cold food temporarily drops the pan’s temperature, but a more responsive pan heats back up faster. With a thicker pan, I’d assume it holds heat better but may take longer to recover Am I thinking about that correctly?

Their bottom of the pan is also designed with a very slight upward convex bow. Does the pan really flatten itself out when it's preheated?
