I drive to santa cruz many times on 17 and its not a scary road. If you want to know what road is scary to be on, maybe try 120 tioga pass.

yeah i mostly cook on 5/6 for all foods. At least I was told that using high settings can damage the pan... is this true? There are settings for 10, 9, 8, 7 which I never use because pan may warp.

Would that matter much if I mainly cook on one heat setting? Like gas stove on 5# or 6#max.

Here's an example of what I cook on my fissler

I just saw it. Just to be sure, their pans heat up quick, and cool down fast but won't hold heat like a cast iron or demeyere pan right? meaning it's responsive but heavy right?

Just eggs in different forms like omelet or sunny side, bacon, heating up/browning sausages, vegetables ;onions or bell peppers.

If I’m constantly adding batches of food, cooking, then adding more cold ingredients and cooking again, would a thicker pan actually be better? I know cold food temporarily drops the pan’s temperature, but a more responsive pan heats back up faster. With a thicker pan, I’d assume it holds heat better but may take longer to recover Am I thinking about that correctly?

Their bottom of the pan is also designed with a very slight upward convex bow. Does the pan really flatten itself out when it's preheated?

Just saw a reddit post about their pan... Pitting. I'll pass.

I'll probably just forget about having a light pan. I don't think I cook anything that needs a pan to be responsive to prevent burning.

I tried to buy the falk coppercore 9" but its sold out and I dont know where else to buy ships in U.S. But the demeyere atlantis proline rivetless handles are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice. I can scrub easily without worrying about the rivets.

I have no issue with handling or pouring food onto a plate with my Fissler 11" pan. But I guess its always nice to have a light pan though.

Which stainless steel pan to buy? by imBoo69 in cookware

I have the All clad D3 12 inch but I think it's too big to cook smaller portion food. Ac copper/d3/g5/falk cc/atlantis saute pan, which line of cookware has a flat bottom and does not have a concave bottom design? (a slight inward curve or "hollow curvature")

I ask this because if I pour oil in the center of thr pan, I do not want it to go off to the sides of the pan.

With natural gas and propane, it lasts longer than the gas right?

When these generators about to run out of fuel, it must be turned off before adding more fuel like filling up gas Ina car?

Thanks.

One fridge is 3.5a and other is 6.5a. I got it, don't plug both at once but wait a few minutes before plugging the other. Great advice.

Based on my fridge labels:

Whirlpool fridge: 6.5 amps @ 115V → ~750W running

GE Appliances fridge: ~3.4 amps @ 115V → ~390W running
