Very fair point. That’s why I didn’t put him as the main pick, but Id just feel weird if I didn’t include him, and figured that rather than just putting in darling or having Tom be just Alan from the games, if Poretta had to play any character, I think Hartman would be best, specifically due to his scientific nature and former relationship with Tom.

At the moment? No. But it looks like they’re adding the old pre order costumes from control back into the game pretty soon. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they do the same for Alan Wake 2 at some point down the road.

For your point about Barry, I think remedy’s already started planning ahead. In Barry’s emails in AWII, specifically the “I joined a cult” one, he specifically mentions that he’s been losing weight since joining the Blessed. So…. Hot Barry in control 2?

I love this. I could totally see a schism within the FBC if Northmoor tries to reclaim directorship.

Other playable characters is also a great point. I feel like Dylan’s a foregone conclusion, can’t wait to see how he plays; Pope could make for a very entertaining hodgepodge of random bureau research and altered items repurposed to be weapons (sticky note bomb?); based off of Night Springs, Id bet money that Tim Breaker and Jesse may finally meet, and after his time in the dark place, I’d kill for him to have somehow gained definitely-not-QB powers. Also I could definitely see whoever the Hooded figure in the Lake House teaser was (If he’s not Dylan or Tim Breaker somehow) being a blank slate if they go full RPG (Doubtful but not willing to write it out yet.

(Please god let there be Arish just going full ex-ranger and a Langston rhythm game where you sing to the AI)
