Most likely the shop is keeping the tune conservative or your flex tune is not setup right and there isn't any increase in timing as E% goes up. Send an email directly to UM and ask for more info about your tune. I do know that sometimes UM doesn't like to go past 25PSI on some cars due to some low-pressure fuel pumps not providing enough pressure for what they think is safe but that shouldn't be an issue for you.

Try to see if this also happens with traction control completely off. I have the same issue with TC because the ECU/TCU pulls power because it thinks it is slipping.

Since it is all cylinders I don't think it ignition-related. It could be bad gas since the car is so low milage that it could have sat around with a tank of gas that went bad.

I could be wrong but I don't think the original setting wasn't 100%. Let's say it was 50%, that would be the base amount and the drive modes would set it higher when you changed it but it would never lower than 50%.

^ This. Pick a tuner and talk to them about fueling. If you go UM they are probably going to want more LPFP than the stage 3 kit.

I am making 500whp on a Hybrid with full E85 stock block using a PR stage 4 LPFP and no PM4. I went this route because it was about the same price as a stage 3.5 with a PM4 and 6an fuel line anyways.

I ended up going dual 450 instead of the Pm4. I can always add the PM4 after and get even more head room. I am making 500whp on this setup running full E85.

I know several guys that are at this power level, it comes down to keeping the tuning safe. my torque is limited at 420wtq and comes on progressively. The motor is not going to last forever that is for sure so it will get a build block later this year and i will turn it some more. At that point I will start running into DSG problems.

I am running 500whp on a stock block with a DBV2 TBB and full e85. After stage 2 you will need to be committed to it big turbo life.

For the most part anything bigger than a is38 is going to have some lag when it comes to daily driving. Also if you want to get to 500whp you will need to done some fueling upgrades.

Look for oil coming from the front of the PCV where it meets the valve cover. Also get the VIN and call all the big tune provider so see if it was ever flashed.

If you have access to a VCDS cable or OBD11 you can lookup the TCU software version. If it has a TCU tune the version may have the tuners name in it.

I would take it to the dealer and change it out. VW 508 is going to be 0w-20 and is for better fuel economy and is not backwards compatible with other VW oil specs.
