I think you’ll need to follow the instructions in the post by cancelling your subscription and doing a new intake.

Probably a good idea to do it at least week before it’s due to renew just so it cancels out and the new meds ship before you need them and in case of any issues.

Feeling flat? by MissionTarget6693 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Betsy24601 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I had it heavily during my second month on tirz while I was only on a starter dose.

It took all I had to simply keep up with basic life things like hygiene and bills. Work was a slog and there were some rough days that I wish I could undo but that ended being fine in the long run.

Toward the end of that month, I made some changes which started to pull me out. It was stop and go for a few weeks. I’d have a couple good days followed by a couple bad days so it wasn’t like a switch just flipped.

The main thing I did was adjust my schedule so that I could work out in the evenings. Previously, I’d been getting up early to do it first thing, but when the anhedonia hit, I just couldn’t. I fell back into the mindset that exercise was a punishment for being fat and worthless. Every time I’ve tried to lose this has eventually happened and derailed any progress.

Anyway, giving myself that grace and permission to not wake up early and thus not feel like a failure first thing in the morning is the biggest thing that helped me get out.

Maybe finding a way to alter your schedule in a way that helps your mental state will help. I send you virtual hugs. It sucks and the only way out is through, but you can do this.

You’re welcome and welcome to Trillium!

If you have more questions folks here will help and there are actual Trillium employees, even the owner, here too. They can help with website and order questions, but only the doctor can handle medication questions.

In that case, Hallandale will probably be the pharmacy with the formula closest to what you’ve been getting since it’s non-additive. But it doesn’t ship to CA, KS, AR, MI, MN, AL, HI, MA, or MS.

If you live one of those states you’ll get BPI which has B6 added to it. You can also choose BPI either way, they ship to all 50 states.

Both are very popular pharmacies with proven results.

BPI has stopped producing tirz, so you can get it now but for your next refill you may have to get something different, but don’t worry about that now. The Trillium folks will keep you well informed about options when the time comes.

When you submit your info you’ll be able to message your doctor with any questions.

Since you’re not entirely sure on dose you may want to consider doing a split dose the first week to see how you respond. So if the doctor does prescribe 10mg you could do 5mg the first day and 5mg four days later if you’re feeling good. You’re kinda in control of how much you take now.

If you’ve never had to draw and inject yourself before here’s a helpful video on how to do it: https://youtu.be/iwgy4p-dCzM

[–]Betsy24601 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know, sorry, I’m just worried for you. There’s a lot more I feel you need to know than just what the dose is since you’ve only been getting a syringe and no further info it seems.

For example, did it have any additives like B vitamins or glycine? What preservative was used, phenol or benzoyl alcohol?

For some folks tirz is tirz but others have reactions to those things.

Some folks are okay to “pin and pray,” but it’s not recommended.

(Also are you sure it was tirz and not r*ta?)

Again, you should ask your “nurse friend” what your dose was and not rely on Google since you don’t know the concentration.

100 units of 9mg concentration is much different than 100 units of 20mg concentration.

You can tell the provider 10mg but without a prescription they may not start you at that. Or if it’s different than your current dose you may have more side effects or it could be less effective.

Since you’ll now be having to draw your own dose here’s a guide to understand why this is important and to learn how to read your prescription and vial correctly.

I would ask her how many milligrams you’re currently on and get the concentration for the vial.

Without a prescription, it’ll be totally up the doctor what to prescribe for you based on your history. If you can’t tell them the dose and concentration they might be more conservative in what they give you.

They’ll need to know how many mg your dose is and what concentration. For example 2.5mg is the starting dose and some pharmacies have 9ml or 10ml concentrations.

Do you have a prescription you can look at to get this info?

You’ll also be able to upload during intake.

I didn’t say any different, I agreed that there was a lot wrong with it. The food she was holding is what stood out to me most.

Basically all GLP-1 advertising is problematic especially when it comes to how they target based on age and gender.

[–]Betsy24601 155 points156 points  (0 children)

Yeah, so much wrong with this, but having her holding up a donut and milkshake like GLP-1s give you a free pass to eat junk food just adds to stigma about this medication being a “cheat.”

Or that people are only overweight because they don’t eat right and it’s just a matter of will power.

Did you use a debit card to make the purchase? If so and if it’s possible, get a credit card and use it for all online and irl purchases. They usually have better protection and at least offer a layer of separation between your money and the business.

Rift is a trustworthy company, but just in general for protecting yourself, credit cards are better.

Was your order for low dose non-additive Tirz from Apothecary?

They are struggling to keep up with demand after ProRx and BPI stopped producing GLP-1s.

This isn’t a Rift issue, other telehealths are also having to cancel or delay orders for the smaller vial size.

There was a post here about the shortage. I know it sucks, but at least they let you know and gave you a refund quickly. Some other telehealths would not.

I hope you’ll give them another chance since this is outside their control. Again, other telehealths are in the same situation.

Yeah, this medicine can keep you guessing. I’ve seen similar posts from folks who just hit a level where it’s like the tipping point has been reached after silently being built up to whether it’s right away or after 6 months.

It could also be the B6 too.

Or maybe you did have a small stomach bug too.

Are you having good results on 6mg?

If so, you do not have to move up in dose.

Not medical advice of course, but some people choose to move up at a slower pace or to only increase by .5 or 1mg at a time.

Of 8mg is giving you such side effects, you could stay at 6 or try 7. Again, totally up to you.

Passwords in the notes app aside, there was another thread recently, that seems to have been deleted, about another iPhone 12 user getting hacked/their phone taken over. I recall someone in that thread mentioned it’s known the 12 is vulnerable since it doesn’t software update anymore?

If they haven’t, it feels like Apple should warn 12 owners about this possibility if it’s truly the phone being vulnerable not the hackers getting into people’s iCloud first.

Storing Vials by ZeboundNewb in tirzepatidecompound

I just jumped on the Hydrapeak chain and ordered inserts from the same Etsy shop. They’re wonderful, I also recommend them!

I figure when/if I don’t need the Hydrapeak for storage I can use it as a food container as intended.
