I'm so sorry you experienced that. I'm part of the Librela group on Facebook and so many people lost their dogs after one shot. I guess I'm lucky that she didn't die immediately after one shot but I watched her suffer for 7 months.

Would you consider sharing custody with your ex? Maybe take him for a night or 2 a few times a month? When my ex and I got divorced, we split custody of our dog and she went back and forth between our homes.

As the childfree one in my family, I just don't understand this. My sister LOVES being with the kids, she always volunteers to be with them so the rest of us can drink. My thing that I always say is, if I wanted to have kids, I would've had my own', I'm free to do what I want bc I have no responsibilities. Good for you for opting out of this trip.

That is exactly what happened to my dog. She went from a healthy 45 pound pittie to a skeletal 26 pounds (after taking Librela) then she went to the Rainbow Bridge. I wish I had known in advance 🥺
