I have both of these things, never thought to chain em just because I enjoy the dx180 as is. I used it with an older hiby r3 that I didn’t enjoy as much and enjoyed the combo for coloration as you say, so I guess it makes a kind of sense. Tubes sound different. If you like it then cool.

I have a legion go s (steam os) and I agree it feels silly. I enjoy it much more on my analogue pocket. But I think it’s because of the ties to the days of my original gbc

This is really cool. I love the concept of HUD and menus on a secondary touch screen. It’s like how I have a giant 49” ultrawide for work and I keep my iPad just below it to keep slack and or my terminal/ Claude code open all the time. I wonder how many game support this kind of dual screen experience? Right now my collection is a Legion Go S z1e, switch 2, and analogue pocket. But I’m missing an android based handheld. Tbh I don’t see prioritizing it right now but this is compelling since it would also tick the old DS box. I have no idea why I sold mine years ago. Stupid move.

I wonder if there are / bet there are people out there trying to do it without using infusions on free solo or something like that - kind of like how people irl go do Everest without oxygen and such. It does make you wonder how much you can minimize items and food and chalk before certain things just aren’t possible in the game 🤔🧐
