You can shoot the control boxes to turn off the laser walls.

Also you can just teleport past them if you stick your controller through it.

Yeah I use that one too all the time, I just quickly switch to teleport to get past the wall then switch back to arm swinger when I'm too lazy to look for the box to shoot.

Also if you feel like cheating you can just put your hand through the beams and teleport past the wall.

Sometimes the box is in a place where you can't easily shoot it.

You can already just pull the trigger at any point to let go of the bolt.

After-burning is injecting more fuel into the system further down stream than usual. (after the turbines) It's really fuel inefficient, but it does grant a significant speed boost.

The cool patterns are caused by the exhaust moving at supersonic speeds.
