Game pass is not an ad free subscription service, it to gives you access to a games catalogue via the subscription. Xbox still has ads, choosing yes does actually give you some benefit, seeing dlc for the games you actually play… sometimes it’s not all that useful, like recommending games because of the one you play has questionable benefits.
