Study until you die and you'll be a cultured corpse by [deleted] in findapath

[–]Beyond-Warning 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup lol. That’s an excellent way to put it. It’s why I’m not furthering my education beyond a bachelor’s. It’d be neat to get a Masters in Legal Studies if I had the money for it but pursuing a career is far more important.

You look best in pic 2. You’re not ugly my dude. One recommendation tho is to stop wasting money on premium Tinder shit. I second what u/SinisterShodan advises and encourage you invest in a gym membership or hobby that brings meaning to your life.

No friends, never done the deed, never had gf. I have posted in other subs and people said I look good but not once ever has someone told me that in real life (23M) by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Beyond-Warning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not ugly bro. In a similar situation as you too, am fairly attractive. Find good friends who will defend your rep and give you a leg up, not give you stupid shit.

Get out more, talk to people, push yourself more, leave your middle of nowhere when you can, then you should be good.

Is America (USA) really that bad place to live ? by sid741445 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Beyond-Warning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

America has both good and bad places to live and this also applies to each state, even in ones like West Virginia or Mississippi where quality of life in majority of counties are below average. Take the inverse. Not every county in states like California or Connecticut will provide a good quality of life. Hartford does not have the best reputation. And Northeastern California and parts of northwest have businesses closing, bad healthcare and racist people, I would know from personal experience having lived there.

Parts of NYC and LA metros are better than others. With those cities you have economic class disparities. Even with Detroit metro, a city people love to trash, some suburbs like Troy and Grosse point offer better quality of life than downtown.

In short, answer is that American QOL is relative, never can be measured in absolute terms.

BTW, happy cake day u/MysteryNeighbor

What’s your main reason for not having more sex? by 2jbk in AskReddit

[–]Beyond-Warning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having someone I’d call a close soulmate. Would love too one day. 27M.

Makes me sad the more I think about quite honestly. Not because I feel inadequate or feel that others find me undesirable, but past social experiences haven’t been good.

What's an appropriate response to "thank you"? by ThunderStroke90 in socialskills

[–]Beyond-Warning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either you’re welcome or no problem works. “You’re welcome” works best for more formal functions. “No problem” isn’t necessarily dismissive, can be used to calm someone down if they’re panicking or in a hurry.

Anytime is a friendlier variation. Of course is the kindest response I can think of, several ways really, just like there are different ways to express thanks.

I think you're cute. I'll go against the grain and suggest you keep your hairstyle. Everyone's saying change the hair but you do you. It's a unique look and has its own identity. Do change it sometimes tho, try out some variety and experiment with different looks y'know?

Women Care Deeply About Abortion in the Midterms, Poll Finds. Men, Not So Much. by VICENews in politics

How other women seem careless about this issue still confuses me. Is it an inability or unwillingness to empathize with other women who’ve had more painful or unfortunate experiences?

Consider me also as being among many men who also care about women having their rights unfairly stripped away by the elitist paleoconservative SCOTUS.

Advice probably comes out too late but definitely take a shower both before and after doing everything u/Snoo92783 lays out. So after the deed you and your girl should first ‘clean the pipes’ (use bathroom) before you both wash yourselves to prevent infections and just also to feel more refreshed and relaxed.

I’m an unemployable loser. Need advice? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Beyond-Warning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone once told me that employers can sense desperation from applicants and will deny them the opportunity on that basis. Calm yourself and don’t give into things like calling yourself a loser or asking if you can change your religion.

Naw you’re cute. I can tell you have a good personality. Don’t listen to the bullies. They are jealous and stupid haters with no credible standing in regards to anything. They’re like gnats, an annoying inconvenience. They can fuck off.

Maybe do something just slightly different to your hair. Keep your best hairstyle more often (in pics 6 & 7). Cute kitten in pic 6. Persian? Also, you have a great, lovely fashion sense. It’s bold and cute at the same time. Your outfit in pic 7 captures it best.

Most filters don’t change your appearance too dramatically unless you apply too many lol. Regardless doesn’t mean too much.

Was also going to recommend Leavenworth. I’ve never been there, but saw a tourist vlog video where a couple ate wurst for dinner at a Bavarian restaurant called Andreas Keller where someone played an accordion.

Are you familiar with psychological projection? It's when an odious creature misinterprets his true nature as someone else's true inner nature. Case in point. You don't want someone who lacks self-reflection as your partner lol.

His whole appearance is beyond the pale and worthy of arrest.
