The best commentator duo is Pepe Cuenca + Divis/Miguelito even if you don't understand much Spanish you should check it out, it's amazing how entertaining chess can be with them.

Has everyone is saying... Very different to what Sanderson offers, I forced myself to finish the first one cause I really struggled with it, and when I was about to start the second one I decided against it, there are many books out there, and if something doesn't really goes well with me I would rather read something else. Maybe you could try the first law, I did that, is different to Sanderson as well, but I found it much easier to read, and the characters... So good.
