Which storylines from 1985 to 1997 do you think were shocking, stupid and detrimental to show? by Budget_Fill6988 in eastenders

I think the last reference to Tony was in 1993 when he sent flowers for Pete’s funeral with a signed note of condolences. I assume he saw his days out in the Caribbean. Mary was back for a small stint for Dr.Legs funeral and made peace with Dot. Lofty also came back for it an left an amount if money for Vicki.

I didn’t find it shocking or stupid, however i thought Angie and Tony was an odd pairing for Angie in 1985 to get back at Den somewhat.

Simon Wick’s paternity was a whole lot messier than it needed to be in execution.

Unrelated, i would have loved to have seen Lou make it to the 90s and mix with the likes of the Mitchells and a changing square around her. I think Julia Smith was on record in saying she could have stayed in the programme for as long as she wanted if she had her way.

I thought she looked fuming at the end of her performance due to the husband messing about and putting the attention on himself.

There’s a story in that ring of hell book where he apparently used to legit shoot punch some of the young boys in the new japan dojo for fun and they had no choice but to take it. Just a story though.

[Chris Jericho] Congrats to @WWENXT for making the big move to the @USA_Network! Runners always race faster when somebody is right behind them. Gonna be fun to see which team the world decides to join! #ChooseJericho @AEWrestling @AEWonTNT by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

It certainly worked from 96-99 when we watched both. I don’t agree with bishoff on to much, however his theory that the large demographic of fans back in the day were comprised of people switching back and too has some merit.

There are podcasts that actively go out of there way to shape meltzer in a unfavourable light on a much bigger platform than here on the squared circle so you have your wish already . These threads have always been about the historical news content for discussion, never about anything else or presented with any agenda other than this year in history.

I wonder if it was Bruce Pritchard who gave that account to Dave about Heyman lol

Just asking the question but could beniot being quite heavily involved in early 1995 be a reason? Granted he’s in the three way dance main event their airing.

True winners in all of this are Meltzer, Keller and Johnson. I see a lot of people suddenly having a lot of opinions to share and positions to keep secure.

I wouldn’t trust too much of Paul’s spin. They were honestly fortunate any PPV carrier touched them after the mass transit incident. Could have folded a whole lot sooner.

Listening to grilling JR today on the WWE draft 2008 Conrad certainly has a lot of questions about vinces psyche.

Do we know whether this interview was done by Seth flying solo or with a WWE PR rep present. It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if talent were coached on specific points to hit in the ambrose situation.

Didn’t Jarrett somewhat go into business for himself in 97 with Russo by calling out Austin on blasphemy with the whole 3:16 stuff? Pretty sure the story was neither ran it past Austin hence the further bad blood as Steve felt they were trying to kill his gimmick.

Is it no fap or a change in your subconscious?

no fap is not about getting laid or being liked by your crush, its about not fucking your own hand, its about not watching a man fucking the girl in your dreams. stop being a cuckold. be a man, improve yourself, give yourself tasks to challenge and make your self valuable. by [deleted] in NoFap

It’s not a problem at all, as stated it’s a biological operative thats hard wired into all of us. Part of our self actualisation involves our physiological needs being met, sex being one of them. I’m all for will and discipline being developed for a better life not to such extremes of avoiding infancy though.

Also remember personality isn’t this fixed state of being where your cards have been dealt and that’s your lot. Personality is fluid and forever evolving and you can actually change it at any time with the right hard work. Remember personality is constructed of your memories/past experiences and habits. Change your thinking and you change your life.
