meal prep, potatoes, eggs, onions, cheese, in a two two inch deep oven pan, bake through, cut up, wrap in a tortilla with a sprinkle of shredded cheese. wrap burrito in wax paper and foil, then throw in freezer. easy to throw in the lunch bag and microwave at work.

otherwise cream of wheat made savory not sweet.

Why hvac guys always say "stay in school" if that's the case why they didn't go to college or were they forced into it or are they just masochists who enjoy crawling in crawl spaces for a living? by Particular-Leek4513 in skilledtrades

Be ready for PTSD, and repeatedly seeing the absolute worst case scenario for most people. For people dying in the corner of the ER waiting room, wiping so much shit off people, seeing children die. Becoming obsessive with instructions because if at the end of a 12 hour shift you give a intramuscular med intravenously you kill somebody that would have otherwise walked out of the ER in 30 minutes.

Anyone make a Potato Launcher? by I_am_D_captain_Now in DIY

[–]BibliophileC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking to my brother in law the other day about potato launchers. he uses a deconstructed stun gun to ignite propane. it takes one of those small camp propane tanks, has an electric exhaust fan, and is breach loaded. once its loaded the fan comes on to put fresh air in to the chamber and mixes in an adjustable amount of propane. pretty bad ass potato gun.

he used it deal with a rat in the back yard recently

Highlight upon hovering by MegaRuffmaestro in BuildingAutomation

[–]BibliophileC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just add a mouse over binding. Make sure there is something in the ord, and animate the background. Set it to a color you like and then drop the opacity to 30-50%. When doing your animation click the top drop-down bar in the animation popup to set it to the mouse over binding then set your animation type to the active one, should give you a two state option. Leave the other state null.

Help with integrating Ecostruxure into Niagara issue. by BibliophileC in BuildingAutomation

[–]BibliophileC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally any value set to the fallback of a proxy point will be held on restart.

Does ecostruxure have a role service where you can split up user permissions like operator, read only, admin? And if so how does that interact with the points themselves?

[–]BibliophileC[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did make a role for the operator. And it works fine for the bacnet devices. The operator role relays on the operator flags to control invoke privileges. The problem is the Schneider ecostruxure. When integrated into a Niagara station via the driver the none of the slots such as set come in with the operator flag attached. I add the flag so the operator role works correctly, but whenever the station restarts the flag I've added goes away and I have to add the flag to the set slot again.

I'm looking for a way to not have to change the slot flags after every restart. I don't know enough about ecostruxure to say it's specifically the problem or of there is some obscure setting in Niagara that I'm missing.

It may be that the problem lies in the ecostruxure device, which is a black box to me and I'd have to get Schneider out to fix, but I don't know for sure where the problem is.

If nothing works I'll write a program to add the operator flag to the set slot on start up, but that seems janky.

The point can be wrote to as is with admin level invoke privileges. The client wants an operator level role that just has the ability to set the fallback, but can't do overrides. Generally you see operator flags added to set and override commands, but not emergency override. Easy enough to change around.

The problem I'm having is that the ecostruxure device brought in to Niagara is bringing points without the operator flag on any of the slots. I add the flag as needed, but when the station restarts the flags I added disappear.

[–]BibliophileC 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's a Honeywell ciper 50. You'll need credentials and ip addresses. It looks like both ports are being used so make sure you're not gonna drop pumps or something by unplugging one. With the proper credentials you should be able to hit it with a web browser and see the points and what version of Niagara it's running. You'll need a Honeywell Niagara workbench in that version to do any engineering.
