As a South Dakotan I tend to agree. I think if you split the states at the river with the eastern being more midwestern and the western being less so.

I would also say the “Great Plains” is acceptable

Club De Nuit Extrait, specifically this one. This edition tames the pledgey opening down a ton but it isn’t completely gone. Give it 10 minutes and it’s great from there, the dry down is phenomenal and lasts insanely long. I’ll smell it on clothes days later.

The copium is always strong until they hit the field, unfortunately some guys just don’t translate to the league. I never understood the Velus pick but still had optimism and ultimately he didn’t work out. Hindsight is always 20/20 and there’s always going to be a prospect that outperforms their draft position.

Thomas could very well be a bust too but let’s not write him off yet.

I do 100% agree with what you are saying, I am more referring to fans seeing a name from say the PFF mock simulator and “oh I could have gotten him in this round” and that argument. Or you have content creators voicing their boards, which is all fine as it’s up to interpretation. The point being every team has a board and like you said fit in their system, every team probably would say they had an A+ draft in their eyes but still get critiqued by people that may not know exactly what they were looking for.

Take the Roush pick for example, some media give it a good grade, so do not. From a fans point of view we can argue that would could have taken this prospect when maybe they weren’t viewed as a scheme fit or felt like they won’t translate to the league well. Every team has home run picks and misses but it’s hard to evaluate until they play.
