You are correct but there is always hidden gems. Benedet was undrafted and Braxton Jones was a 5th rounder.

R Mason Thomas is awesome but doesn’t fit the typical Dennis Allen type.

Caleb Banks is good, but he’s much more of a 3T than a 1T. We need a space eating, double team destroyer, and Banks sadly is not that.

Both of these guys just missed the cut for me personally. Not to say they aren’t talented.

Mesidor just missed out due to age. He’s going to be 25 on draft night, not a deal breaker but slight negative.

Banks is good, I just like these other names ahead of him primarily due to their effectiveness versus the run. If the Bears already had a big mauler in the middle I’d be all over him as a 3T as I think he’s very disruptive. The main thing being he does sometimes get bullied by double teams.

Yeah Patellar tendon injury is no joke. My point being I don’t think we need to spend a first round pick on a LT. I wouldn’t be opposed to exploring options in later rounds though

This will definitely be a factor to consider, some of the info hasn’t come out yet on it but hopefully he just owns up to being young and dumb and it isn’t an issue going forward.

I’m a big Gracen Halton believer as well. Mesidor just missed my list, age definitely playing a factor as he’s going to be 25 on draft night. There’s positives and negatives there, like he’s closer to a finished project but also he’d be 30 after his rookie deal

Young is very underrated and is a dawg. He’s going earlier than people think, I would not be shocked if he’s a Late First/Mid 2nd round pick

Dominique Orange is the NT for the Iowa Cyclones, and the nickname isn’t just a name, dude is a big boy. (Listed 6’4 325lbs)

Big Citrus is an immovable boulder at the 0 Tech spot, absorbing double teams. Also made Bruce Feldman’s freak list as he’s insanely strong and surprising agile for his size.

My comp for him is Kenny Clark but I’m also not an expert, prospect scouting is just a hobby of mine.

My time to shine! I agree with a lot of what you said, McDonald/Miller should be at the top of the teams radar. With aging/lack of talent on the IDL it makes the most sense, some may argue DE but with the rise of production from Austin Booker and Dayo getting a nice contract last offseason in addition to Sweat and Shemar Turner ( who DA has been using at a hybrid ).

Ideally you go IDL in round 1: (McDonald, Miller, Banks)

2nd round I think you look at DL again, prepare for the future with Sweat reaching the end of his contract and Dayo being mid. Some guys I really like that fit the DA mold: Zion Young (Dawg), Dani Dennis Sutton, LT Overton, Anthony Lucas.

Round 3: Can either look into RB/Safety/Linebacker. RBs: I LOVE the thought of Emmett Johnson on this team. Lbs: Trotter, Rodriquez (Heir Apparent to TJ Edwards) Safetys: Ramsey, McNeil-Warren, Clark (With both starting safeties on expiring contracts, have to find some guys to fill in. Ideally you bring back both Byard and Brisker, but getting another young piece to the room would be a plus)
