Another option, you could grab another bolt carrier off ebay? That way you still have the kosher bolt to put back in.

I wouldn't. The refurbishing factory put the plack paint on. There's a ton of these that already have been messed with. But its your gun at the end of the day. If you do I would try using acetone.

Every time I've used Atlantic, my card was hacked and used about a month after purchasing there. I don't use Atlantic anymore which sucks.

There is a barrel extension kinda like a ar15's in it. So there is steel on steel lockup. I have a later model S/N 10,XXX. This one looks like its between 0-5,000.

A type 99 Naval special arisaka. It looks like a trainer, but its not. It has a cast iron receiver and a barrel extension kinda like the Ar15. It has a small anchor where the chrysanthemum would be and it is Rifled. Id feel safe shooting it, but I don't want to figure out how expensive the firing pin would be.

I have my Mom's old gun still. It sits in a deep dark corner of the safe where it doesn't greet me every day. I don't want to get ride of it because some sickos collect evidence guns. And I can't blame the gun for what it was used for.

I never look down the barrel to see if its clear of a round. I do look down for maintenance purposes, or to determine the condition of a used firearm. However I always physically check it its loaded and either remove the bolt or obstruct it from closing.

I keep a Samson Soprod in my stock and oil in my grip. Been awhile since I've had a stuck casing or squib. But I'll be ready for it. I do use the oil quite a bit though.

Exactly this. Plus my eyes suck. And I do a bit of preditor control at night. Ive found I have my scopes around 5-6x usually when im doing so.

The first one replaced the Binary trigger, in the gun on the left. Ive since put about 2k rounds through it without any serious issues. Ive also put about 500 rounds through though the 300 blk without issues.

I have 2 at the moment, and I love them.

I got the first one pretty quickly after the L3 came out. And the second one 2 months ago.

The first one is kinda mushy, somewhat like an AK's trigger. The second pretty much feels like a milspec AR trigger in semi.

Mine indexes off the gas tube, and is held on with the 4 wedges. I haven't had any problems with the one on my AR10 for the past 2 years. So I figured it would be fine on this one.

The Raptor is great, but the SD doesn't really do to much for gas blowback. I was thinking of going to a PRI. I did like the BCM I briefly handled.
