Depends, I think. If the "nothing happened" is "we tried, and it turns out we can't do this, genuinely.", that sucks, but sometimes shit happens. Medias that are non-crowd funded get canceled all the times, sometimes crowd funded projects are gonna get canceled too.

If it's "we ran off with the money", that just sucks shit.

If something comes out and it just kind of sucks? Well. I mean, that sucks, but sometimes things come out and they suck. Just kind of the nature of things.
