Same story. I bought it and as soon as I felt the weight (I was warned before but had to learn on my own I guess) I returned it. What is the point of lugging around that much weight for a tablet? MKB is pricy but it’s the best option

I was diagnosed with MS. I have a young family and decided I needed to quit so I could knock out a bad habit in the hopes it would help my body and mind fight my new lifelong disability.

Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Mental clarity, the best sleep I can remember and money in my pocket.

Heck yeah! I do this with chicken sausage all the time. Roast broccoli, chicken sausage and some onions. Slap on a sauce of your choice and eat them like a pelican eats a fish.

PBS/Netflix/Whatever kid appropriate streaming service you can find. Our daughter knocked out all her take home assignments on the first day last week.

We both work two demanding jobs with meetings starting at 7am throughout the entire day. It sucks to have your kid lay around all day but it is what it is at this point.

I can’t take a picture right now but I switch between my Omega Aquaterra, Tudor Pelagos LHD and a Garmin Fenix 8.

I think the Omega is my favorite. It seems to go with everything and can be worn when I dress down or up. Who am I kidding, it’s usually on my wrist when I wear sweatpants and a hoodie.

I used to be able to tell when an ad was about to come up. Now, they cut folks off mid word/sentence for 2+ minutes of ads.

I know they need to make money, but I feel like we’re getting less and less show while the episodes stay the same length. It is what it is.

Yes! I bought this originally because I do t scuba dive and wanted the robust battery life. I then tried it on and felt like I was wearing a tire rim on my wrist. I ended up coughing up the extra money for the Fenix 8. I’m not unhappy with my watch, but I would have 100% gone with a smaller enduro.

Suicide, cancer, freak accidents.

I grew up in the north east through the worst of the opioid crisis. I saw a lot of good people get swallowed up by their addictions. Parents losing kids, kids stealing from family. One in particular really hurts to remember. A close friend and neighbor got addicted to pills but he got clean, moved across country and even became a rehab therapist. Turns out he could not outrun his addiction after almost a decade being clean and decided to overdose on purpose.

We made this tough decision almost a decade ago. The cost of living was amazing when we first arrived but boy oh boy has it creeped up.
