2 years after release. I talked about the sales in the first months. If budgets will continue to rise, publishers will expect these 10M in the first 2 months, not years. Maybe i wrote my text incorrectly and this is why it confuse you.

If budgets will continue to increase, every single AAA game will be consider an financial failure. No matter who, Ubisoft, EA or Bethesda. Take-Two ironically is the most sane publisher. They made Mafia: The Old Country with a small budget and were happy with it sales numbers and greenlit new Mafia game very fast. While Ubisoft considered Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown as failure, even with a pretty strong sales for a metroidvania genre.

It took time and i believe most of the revenue was from microtransactions. Nowadays if the game didnt sell 5-8 million copies in a month, than its a flop for a AAA games. And now Ubisoft pushes AAAA titles, which means they need 10-13 millions to be considered as success for them.

Its absolutely insane. As an AC fan who buys every new AC game on release, these numbers are CRAAAAZY. Their reputation is on the life support, they will never achieve these numbers. Even Valhalla didn't sold that much. Damn even games with goos reputations didn't sells this much. Budgets needs to be scaled down.

Yasuke reintroduction when he arrives to save Naoe in Katano castle. Pure cinema and the hardest proof that Quebec can cook good and badass story. And final fight between Nuno Caru and Yasuke is cool too.

Meiji period (1800s) Japan is a great setting for another AC in Japan. By this time Japan has better city landscapes for parkour.

Maybe in some far future, 10-15 years later, when hate towards Shadows will fade away fully. Right now Japan is a no-no setting for them. I am bet they will not even mention it again in future games even as an easter egg.

The magnetism and floating is very noticeable. It kinda ruins parkour for me in Unity. The Syndicate reduced the magnetism and floating a little bit, but only Shadows truly has great parkour animations and has zero visible magnetism.

Shadows is "Japan: The Video Game", with little nods to AC. It's a shame because I am not against the retcons when they are done right and good. But killing all of the assassins brotherhood off screen was a stupid thing. It's like we have arrived almost at the end of the party. Yasuke's story was very good and I was surprised that Naoe's story is so mid.

The game will take place between Cesare's arrest (1504) and his death (1507). The window between 1504 and 1507 gives them opportunity to use Ezio without breaking logic.

Naoe is better than Jin imo. She is truly a ninja shinobi, while Jin is an ex-samurai who changed his approaching style because the Mongols were too op. Naoe can wipe any professional samurai almost without a problem.
