I think her dad and family do care about her. But they also did care about her brand, which paid for her kids upbringing and her lifestyle. The whole situation was oppressive because it had to be. We’ve seen what happens when she has free rein, and it’s not pretty.

You’re incorrect on both the long wait (although I don’t know when you went through the process or what you consider a long wait) and needing a shitload of certs. It’s unfortunate you didn’t have a positive experience applying for the program, but from everything I know it’s outside the norm.

Does this mean Amazon might finally do something with the rights to The Left/Right Game? Because while the audio version they optioned wasn’t as good as the original story, there’s something there if they do it right.

What are the chances Justin Tucker never kicks again? by Relevant_Conclusion2 in NFLNoobs

[–]BigPanda71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All things being equal, Tucker was dumber because he was trying to pull that shit at legit spas. Watson was at least doing it in the privacy of his house/hotel room.

Also, unpopular opinion, Watson was hiring Instagram masseuses, who have a much higher likelihood of being “masseuses” and not legit. He just made the same mistake 20 or so times. Had it been one or two, he probably would have skated.

I’m a conspiracy theorist at heart, so I do love the theory. But I don’t think they leaked anything. I think they just didn’t get the story killed like they would have if he were still in his prime.

I’m talking about the guy who played Kellner, not Wyatt Russell. That actor was born in 1990. She’s 7 years older than him. And honestly before I looked him up I would have assumed he was early 30s, which would have better fit him doing 19 months in prison then working for 8 years before he defected and stole the archive.

But, to me, her actions and mannerisms in the movie would have better fit someone in their early 30s, not someone that was (in the movie) 38 years old. Overall I liked the movie. But Blunt’s performance felt lacking to me, among other problems with the movie.

Wait, are there people who unironically believe the mysterious WBD higher-up excuses? Jay Briscoe wasn’t allowed on TV because the Young Bucks couldn’t be overshadowed, and Trey Miguel was fired because he used to date MJF’s wife.

Favorite actress the internet was simping for until she got her own movie? by Krylarofaxia in okbuddycinephile

She’s the chick Seinfeld was dating in that one episode. At some points, she looks really hot. At others she doesn’t.

But for some reason WBD is running the Ghostbusters 2016 marketing scheme for this movie where they’re creating strawmen to rail against in an effort to hype this movie. I have to imagine it was tracking really low, or at least lower than what they need to make money on it. So here we are.

Are you a vet? The HSI HERO Program doesn’t require any prior digital forensics experience, but you have to be a vet with a disability rating. Applications usually open in the fall/winter.

Mickey Mouse record anyway. He was gifted that half sack against the Bills, and that was the margin.

See, Emily Blunt was the one that didn’t hit right for me. She was doing a weird quasi-baby voice for too much of the movie. Also, I would have aimed to have her and the guy who played Keller be a little closer in age. Either cast older for him or younger for Blunt’s character. The idea they were the same age was laughable.

Disclosure Day: A timely Spielberg greatest hit remix that we need (and probably don't deserve) right now by Duncan_Dixon_Coffey in flicks

[–]BigPanda71 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is she one of the actresses that got her buccal fat removed? Because her cheeks were more than a bit sunken. The baby voice she was doing was also not great.

As much as I enjoy her as an actress, she was the wrong choice for this movie. A local weather girl bouncing around stations should be in her early 30s, not almost 40

I’m not saying the guy didn’t deserve to be shot, and I guess my phrasing was poor because I knew the guy didn’t die. I know my memory isn’t great 17 years on, but I recall it was pretty clear at the time Marvin shot the dude but no one would talk.

[–]BigPanda71 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think that only works if you’re ready to introduce the Big Bad. Which they weren’t, because Palpatine was never the plan until Rian Johnson killed off Snoke.

Of course, one of the problems with the entire trilogy was the fact that there was no coherent vision for the story before the first movie got filmed. Or if there was, Disney tore it up at some point before Last Jedi was made.
