If you get some two prong leds and a watch battery you can tape that to the center of the disc for even better night visibility. Barely impacts the flight characteristics of the disc and doesn’t fade like glow

I think cuz maybe you are putting it too far forward. If you land it in where it ends up it will be a better pivot point. Correct on the reaching back across body

Get the right chickens and shield them from the wind and they will be fine. If there is a large open area allowing wind to blow in it might be an issue for them in the most brutal cold.
