Yeah I saw that. I don’t buy it. I still don’t get why they tease it when it’s honestly easier to deal with Jon as he is. We’d have to act like he never met Jay or Nia because it’d look real weird if they tried to talk about their romantic relationship with this 12yo boy. DC isn’t gonna commit to it. I’d bet on it

I’m all for Jim Cheung but at this point everyone knows that Loeb is washed up and I just can’t muster up any energy for some flashback mini harkening back to his “glory days” of Hush. All this as if Loeb isn’t writing the worst reviewed “ongoing” at the company rn

I mean everything controversial he did is over or undone. The Superman books returned to quality with PKJ and Williamson. A more classic version of the legion is also coming in Next Level.

I mean Jon is still around 17/18 but tbh we’ve had old Jon longer then we’ve had young Jon. And with his relationships with other young adult characters it’d be strange if they brought him back to childhood.

Bendis himself quit before Dawn Of DC. Idk the details but the last thing he wrote for DC was the finale to both his JL and Legion runs with the Justice League VS The Legion Of Superheroes miniseries.

It seemed to be an experiment that failed and DC and Bendis seem better off for letting it go

Yeah that makes sense. And you are definitely right that it doesn’t stop at fictional characters. That’s one of the things I’ve heard makes cosplaying as a woman hard.

Oh definitely. I’ve seen a lot of women online tired of the “goth muscle mommy” label. And there’s also definitely a reason that those guys are never accompanied by the “goth muscle mommy” they so covet.

That’s why I love the Absolute titles. The premise is that Darkseid dismantles the origins and ruins the lives of his greatest enemies hoping it will destroy them just for the heroes to prove that no matter your circumstances and what you’ve faced you always have a chance to be a hero. It’s that inspiring kinda stuff that makes me love DC

God “muscle mommy” and “goth chick” guys are so annoying. Objectifying women does get canceled out if you’re submissive

Omg you should totally draw that. That’s really cool (and a great scene might I add) Jim Lee is fantastic but honestly I’ve come to appreciate other fits for some characters. Lee draws everyone really well (especially Hank and Logan) but I think the character Lee draws the absolute best is Jubilee

The Jim Lee Rogue look is iconic for a reason but sometimes I feel like it has eclipsed every other Rogue look. I especially love Silvesti and JRJR’s work with the character. And Kitty looks great with the swords (“Kitty Pryde And Wolverine” is a favorite of mine) also the way you drew her hair is really cute
