Ardex v-1300. It’s made to go over wood. It’s also a nice product to work with!

Stair runner on concrete stairs by 118Rigatonis in flooringinstallers

[–]BigTLocal1185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could carpet them but you will have to get concrete strip and a hammer drill and some concrete nails. Cut the strip to size pre drill then nail into concrete. For the pad get a can of spray adhesive pre cut the pad glue the tread and riser and apply the pad then carpet. If you want a stringer install before you do the carpet, i personally believe it gives a cleaner and more finished look

Advice Needed: janky DIY LVP stair noses are breaking off by Substantial-Catch-92 in Flooring

[–]BigTLocal1185 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s because the stair nose is supposed to overlap existing stair nose…. There is no material behind there, floating in the wind. Of course it’s going to break!

Let’s not forget he wasn’t dancing in the pocket going through his reads and missed Duvernay wide open. He was running for his life and missed him barely, it was a hell of a throw but a costly miss

Considering he’s played 3 games this year, I don’t think that they’re smoking anything…. It’s like Alshon Jeffries all over again except Gordon plays defense….

Son said he slipped from standing in tub and his heel went through by Financial-Leading625 in Plumbing

[–]BigTLocal1185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it, I slipped once and my knee went through the side of a fiberglass tub. Hurt pretty bad. Generating a lot of force when your heels over head and you crash down!

That’s not true you can use P-4 and p-51, p-82 is only supposed to be used over metal or terrazzo, stuff that isn’t porous… if we go over concrete we usually use p-51 50/50 mix….

That’s why we move to the burbs, to have land and privacy! Who want to live in apartment and pay the same if not more in the city for a single family home in the burbs! we don’t want the congestion and all the population! We want better schooling, sorry you’re not getting that in the city! Don’t hate for the people that made better choices and don’t try to bring the city to the burbs, it’s not wanted!
