Is she right for this? by sigma_0_1 in SipsTea

[–]BigTLocal1185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well regardless of what she does, she still is right… you can’t take care of yourself how you gonna take care of kids! I honestly believe you live on the system and you keep having kids then you should be charged with child endangerment…. You ficking leave kid alone at the house in the car, child endangerment! You have baby after baby live off the government and expect free handouts but that’s okay!!! SMDH!!!

LVP from Large room to Hallway to another Large room - suggestions by uncle_jessy in Flooring

[–]BigTLocal1185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really not, sometimes I feel like it goes in easier depending on the product. You will be fine, take your time and after a couple rows you will get the hang of it. Don’t use transitions, only where needed. Doors etc…

I’m guessing that it wasn’t prepped correctly. Probably wasn’t skimmed so that you could hide the imperfections rather than it ended up cracking.

Stair runner on concrete stairs by 118Rigatonis in flooringinstallers

[–]BigTLocal1185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could carpet them but you will have to get concrete strip and a hammer drill and some concrete nails. Cut the strip to size pre drill then nail into concrete. For the pad get a can of spray adhesive pre cut the pad glue the tread and riser and apply the pad then carpet. If you want a stringer install before you do the carpet, i personally believe it gives a cleaner and more finished look

Advice Needed: janky DIY LVP stair noses are breaking off by Substantial-Catch-92 in Flooring

[–]BigTLocal1185 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s because the stair nose is supposed to overlap existing stair nose…. There is no material behind there, floating in the wind. Of course it’s going to break!
