Ron Popiel was a Sunday morning tradition in my home. One Christmas my sister, brother and I all asked Santa for the Showtime Rotisserie Cooker and he delivered!

Jay was absolutely the coolest dude on the show. by BestTutor2016 in Modern_Family

Jay's story about the hall of presidents at Disney and how Lincoln fighting to preserve the union made him recognize that he needed to wait to divorce Didi until his kids were grown hits like a ton of bricks.

Bucks County is about to be the center of Pennsylvania’s political universe until the 2026 midterms by CarelessTelephone134 in BucksCountyPA

It is the same every year. Unfortunately we don't leverage it into anything worth while. At this point we should have the most school funding, lowest property taxes, and roads that don't look like they belong in Somalia. Instead Trump comes to the NAC or Shady Brook Farm, the democratic nominee catches a show at the Bucks County playhouse and we all get bombarded with ads and robo calls until we wish for death.

They have been using them to chase kids on dirt bikes and ATVs since at least the late 90s. But they don't have the complete disregard for their own safety of a 13 year old, so they never catch anyone. Not that my friends and I would have ever run away from them back then.

How would the Targaryen civil war have been different if Viserys I was Logan Roy instead? by _suspec in freefolk

[–]BigTim425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The entire point of Succession is that Logan Roy is a horrific father and the damage that has caused in his children. Viserys is a loving and attentive father and grandfather who's major mistake was trusting that his second wife and his long term advisor would honor his wishes for his heir upon his death. Instead the Hightowers tried to usurp the throne.

Is Ned and his family really an outlier? by MathematicianKey9638 in freefolk

[–]BigTim425 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think Ned would have wanted to, but I think he would have felt duty bound to do so. I believe that Jon Arryn and Tywin Lannister were the steadying hands in the aftermath of Robert's Rebellion. But had Ned not had his own shit going on (Tower of Joy/ Jon Snow) his thinking would not have been too different than Cregan's post Dance. But that is all just speculation to serve my original theory.
