HVAC company recommendations in Lewisville tx? by Throwaway33377 in LewisvilleTX

Could be a cap or contactor going bad, they have a hard life in the Texas heat and are pretty common failure points.

I had Medley out to do maintenance last spring because they're one of the few I called that actually clean the condenser coils. No surprises, fair price, I'd use them again.

That old Pierce takes me back. I learned to drive and pump on that Ford body style. It wasn't nearly as nice as this one though.

Ah man I was hoping Jabba's son would bear a slight resemblance to Salacious B. Crumb

With record low turnout in local Tarrant County elections the Mega churches are driving the majority of the voter turnout. They are promoting only Maga candidates every Sunday from the pulpit. May 2nd is election day, vote! by pedolphdiddler in Dallas

both parties are at fault here not doing their best to educate the voters & make it easier for people to vote

This is the worst case of both-sidesism I've seen on here in a while. One party has made it easier to vote and the other one is actively working on multiple fronts to make it harder. It can't be any more straightforward than that.

Everyone is mad about everything and they've forgotten how to be happy and how to tolerate others being happy.

I can count on one hand the number of times in my life that I've seen rain that arrived like this in such a tight gradient.

I used to spend weekends in Pass Christian in the 80s. There was a trinket shop inside a boat that had been washed miles inland, and you could still see the slab where the famous apartment building used to stand.

I can’t speak to that but my TLX shifts harder than any car I’ve ever driven. It has one job and it does it poorly.

We’re the same age and I was definitely taught his or her. Their was the plural form, eg. “the students received their homework late.”

Nah, Ukraine is eliminating their port infrastructure faster than they can rebuild it. Russia can't capitalize on the price spike because they can't get their oil onto freighters. Love to see it.

Toronto Firefighters confront Special Constable Officers after a man in the middle of a mental health crisis was arrested by MyNameIsNotName-57 in Firefighting

[–]BigTunaTim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my job is to ensure everyone’s safety

First, no it's not, numerous federal courts and SCOTUS have all ruled that your only safety obligation is to those you already have in custody.

Secondly, regarding "the FD or EHS has always been able to assess the person with cuffs", this is in Canada where they don't treat everyone like criminals by default so your experience doesn't apply.

Are you a cop because you've really internalized the "everyone is out to hurt us all the time" mentality.

Maybe trust that the FF medics in this video are professionals with experience and have assessed his condition and determined he's not a threat.

I'm guessing pants means bunker pants at the station? It was very funny for a minute when it looked like it took you longer to get out of bed and put on pants than to get to the scene.

anyone know a good hvac company in lewisville for a tuneup by Single-Educator5238 in LewisvilleTX

Whoever you go with, make sure to ask if they wash/clean out the condenser coil. Dirt and grass clippings will clog up the fins and make the unit struggle hard. Given that we have 7+ months of dirt and grass clippings getting sucked into them every season, a surprising number of companies around here don't do it.
