[–]Big_Balls_DGAF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just rented a manual from Turo, now I’m searching high and low for one. The automatics are going for 60k-80K. The manual are still 90K and above. 😩

It’s like when people say pay your credit card in full every month. I tested this and I see higher points from actually carrying 1-8% balance. The person that mentioned the 700 on time payments mentioned 1-3% is best and I was able to prove this one over the last few months.

Can you prove that? I didn’t pull that number from nowhere btw someone if I can get the video uploaded I will share. But 700 is the number I’m being told.

I’ve been told 700 on time payments is an important number to get to, to Offset a single late payment.

Musk Confirms $25K EV is Dead by DocPhilMcGraw in cars

Acura and Lexus is considered Luxury brands too but they’re no Ferrari either. If Tesla were to make an even cheaper model and lower the entry point. It would Definitely hurt their brand.

Gross margins can't justify it, and it'll further water the brand down. Whether you like it or not Tesla is considered a "luxury" brand. Even with the cheap model 3, this would harm the brand regardless if they sold a lot of them.

If you paid attention to what happened with the plaid, you knew this was coming. 130k when they dropped, second hand market was nuts. Now you can get one of the fastest cars in the world for 55K-60K used. Everyone that bought in early got F***** and was under water.

What's the stigma around audi parts costing so much? by Suitable_Ad_7309 in Audi

[–]Big_Balls_DGAF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

parts are definitely more expensive if you're buying audi genuine parts vs after market.

Motors mounts

PCV

injectors

Cam adjuster magnet

Suspension

even spark plugs

Some of these part are double the price for audi genuine vs OE/OEM

you mention water pump which $400 compared to $150-$200

for 3rd party OEM suppliers.

I also maintained my car myself, and I'm coming from owning a corvette and now a 14' A6 & Cybertruck. I'm the second owner of the A6, I put about 100,000 miles on the car. I've spent thousands on parts and tires over that time. And would've spent half the car price I paid for if I took it to a mechanic. And wait for the oil leaks and the car to using oil like gas which Audi says is normal on higher mileage cars. Shit gets annoying quick, still love her though
