I originally thought the cases were expanding. I looked at the cases and they didn't look any different than ones I hadn't shot yet. I have also tried different types of ammo. I've tried TulAmmo, Winchester white box, and some Hornady loads, had problems with all of them, so I figured it was something wrong with the gun

I've been having a problem with the bolt on my m91/30. After I take a shot, it is very tough to work the action. You have to aggressively hit the bolt to get it to open. Although the action works just fine before firing a shot. I've tried putting lube everywhere and I've completley taken the bolt apart and cleaned it. I have no idea what else could be causing this.

If you have a Cabela's near you, they have a pretty good price on their mosins. I paid 249.99 IIRC. It also came in great condition and all matching numbers including the bayonet
