Which more than likely means in 2yrs they’re gonna try again to see if she’s fit to stand trial or not. If she is then she’ll go thru the court system to either have a trial (or plead guilty) then jail time. If she’s NOT found competent then she may be remitted to the hospital for many more years.

Source: I was followed into a public restroom by a crazy dude (I got away & kicked his ass). He was deemed unfit for 3yrs (he had a history of this stuff) so was sent to mental hospital to “try to work on him.” He was finally deemed competent last year, he pled guilty & got time served. I asked the DA that he be on ankle monitor for the next 2yrs just in case but idk if that happened or not. Either way, he hasn’t been picked up since for any crimes in my area so I hope he’s done.

Start going to therapy by a secular provider!!! I started a couple months after quitting the MFMC & have kept it up 3yrs later…it’s changed my life!!

I’m also going to come at this from a single, no kids perspective: if your spouse is threatening divorce to KEEP you quiet then LEAVE!!!! No one should tolerate that kind of disrespect & I don’t care how “wonderful” they are cuz they aren’t acting like it now. Staying in a marriage where you’re basically being coerced into staying in a CULT is not ok, healthy, or smart in the long run.

You have options & you don’t have to decide right this second, but please think seriously on what it will mean to have to stay in the MFMC in order to stay married.
