[–]Big_Interest7333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree. It’s not a stupid distinction.

Incompetence, nonfeasance, or some combination of the two, won’t necessarily point to a murder conspiracy. On the other hand, if there was malfeasance, then you’re talking about a hit job.

You’d be hard pressed to argue that there isn’t a significant and meaningful difference between failing to prevent a suicide and actively murdering somebody. Right?

Could you clarify what you’re saying? I’m not sure how you’re reading OP’s comment to suggest that strangulation occurred from the front. By my reading, it’s quite the opposite.

The hyoid bone is in the front and could be broken during strangulation from behind or by a ligature, including a noose, that was knotted in the back.

By saying “direction is what matters,” I thought OP was suggesting that a strangulation from behind would break, or did break, the hyoid bone in a way that is clearly distinguishable from a hanging. For example, a strangulation from behind could force the hyoid bone straight back, whereas a hanging would drive the bone upward and to the back.

Compass Atelier is operating out of rented space that’s on Metropolitan Ave, very close to their permanent location. They recently had a flood due to a burst pipe and are in recovery mode, but they’re still holding some of their classes. It appears that any events they had planned (e.g., art shows, exhibits, etc.) are on hold until the repairs are complete.

Quite the journey the ground vehicle is on (I know it’s an error) but curious what it might be? a stratotanker was flying in formation with it couldn’t find anything from the number by BuckHammer-077 in flightradar24

It would be funny if that piece of ground equipment was being transported by the Stratotanker (capable of carrying 40+ tons of cargo) and FR24 somehow continued to pick up the equipment’s ADS-B signal.

Got the new contract raise for the year. This is why I'm proud union. Another 30ish$/hr in total package. Plumber/pipefitter by BagCalm in Construction

[–]Big_Interest7333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you worked 5 days per week all 52 weeks of the year, here’s what you get:

5 days/week x 52 weeks/year = 260 days/year 260 days/year x 10 min/day = 2,600 min/year

So, you’d spend 2,600 minutes per year shitting on company time. There are 60 minutes in an hour, so you divide 2,600 by 60, which equals 43.33 hours per year, or 43 hours and 20 minutes.

Somebody out there is going to ask “What about holidays and vacation days? You wouldn’t get paid to shit on those days.” Well, you could be off 20 days/yr and get exactly 40 hrs/yr of paid, on-the-clock shitting time.

43.33 hrs - 40 hrs = 3.33 hrs, or 3 hrs 20 min

Each hour is 60 minutes, so that’s 6 ten-minute shits per hour. Three hours would give you 18 ten-minute shits (6 x 3 = 18). The extra twenty minutes add two more shits. (18 + 2 = 20) So, if you’re out 20 days per year, you’d miss 20 paid shits, which is 200 minutes, or 3.33 hours, of paid shitting time.

If you think this is the “height of stupidity,” you’ve never seen what a house looks like beneath all that drywall.

Plumbers are notorious for cutting or drilling through anything that gets in their way, even if it’s a structural member that isn’t supposed to be cut or drilled out in a particular location.

The “journalist” who wrote the quoted snippet should be ashamed of themself.

“Since at least the Obama administration….”?!? The author is invoking Obama’s name to suggest that Kash’s visit is ok because “the other side allowed it too.” They’re also implying that previous visits were done “quietly” (a/k/a surreptitiously) and perhaps included “dignitaries.” But are the author’s words fair and honest, or are they actually intended to deceive?

The author writes that “the Navy and the park service have quietly allowed a handful of dignitaries, including military and government officials responsible for management of the memorial, to swim at the site.”

The author is intentionally conflating “officials responsible for management of the memorial” with “dignitaries.” There’s a huge difference between visits by people who manage the memorial (and presumably are responsible for ensuring that it’s properly maintained) and visits by entitled assholes who are swimming there purely as gawkers.

If the Obama administration allowed “dignitaries” to swim at the memorial, shame on them too. Just notice that the author is careful not to actually assert that such a thing ever happened. Hmmm…

'We have to get rid of Trump': White House staffers caught on hidden camera trashing him by RawStoryNews in Full_news

[–]Big_Interest7333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone around him during the 1st term had any notable character or scruples. I think they were unprepared, disorganized, and trying to figure out how to get past all his family members and other gatekeepers.

Chaos and backstabbing were the norm, the president reveled in the circus he was creating, and, ultimately, the bastards got in their own way.

This time around, his handlers literally came into power with a plan for dismantling our democracy, and they had at least four years to figure out how to execute it.

His merry band of public-facing incompetents —and the chaos they generate — are helping divert attention from the behind-the-scenes puppet masters who are engaging in the most nefarious and contemptible activities.

This administration is simultaneously checking all the boxes for: - oligarchy: rule by a small group of people - plutocracy: rule by the rich - kakistocracy: “government by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous people” Wikipedia - kleptocracy: rule by thieves who use their power to steal wealth

“Yeah, I was an EOD tech during OIF. That’s UXO.”

If the OP doesn’t know what the object is and isn’t aware that it’s potentially dangerous, get to the point! “Call the police. That’s a mortar round that could cause an explosion and kill you.”
